Doing a backyard grow here in the 916 this summer. Started germination on 2 Humboldt Seeds Org Blue Dream and 2 HSO Sour Blueberry on April 1st (all feminized). Today i put them in 1 gallon pots of some Happy Frog until i transplant them into 3 gallon pots before going into their final homes of 15 gallon pots at the end of May. Right now my 1 gallon pots is strictly Happy Frog, nothing else added. Dealing with the 100 degree weather, what are some things you are adding into your fox farms soil mix? Was going to buy 2 bags of Happy Frog and 1 bag of Ocean Forest and mix them all up together. Was thinking of adding some extra perlite or even some vermiculite. What should i look to add to the soil mix for central california weather? Going to introduce the mix soil on the next transplant and the final transplant.

Any tips on maximizing yield this outdoor season?

Thanks

Better soil, add compost and earth worm casting to your mix. Bigger pots to, try a gardening center for a base soil. Yards are cheap, 200 gallons to a yard.
