I can see nobody is interested thats a little disappointing considering the time i put in. O well. Here is an article if you want to add it.

Harvesting your crop is an exciting time, you get to reap what you have sowed and slaved over. All that hard work is ready to pay off. You have sweet smelling awesome looking buds but how do you tell if they are done? You don’t want to harvest them too early or too late; you want to get that perfect smooth smoke.
Harvesting time is vital to the quality of your smoke. Harvesting early can lead to a totally different high than weed harvested late. A common misconception is that the white/amber hairs on the bud determine when to harvest. Many will subscribe to the theory that when 50% of the hairs turn amber the plant is ready to harvest. This is simply not true and can lead to harvesting premature plants, decreasing yield and smoke quality. The real tell of cannabis are the trichomes that litter the plants buds.

There are five different trichomes on a cannabis plant. The first kind called cystolith trichomes are found on the underside of the leaves. The rest, bulbous, capitate-sessile, capitate-stalked and glandular hairs are kinds we are most interested in, they are found primarily on the buds of the plant and contain THC. Trichomes comes from the greek word meaning ‘growth of hair.’ Trichomes are fine outgrowths or appendages found on plants and some protists.
Trichomes tell us when to harvest the plant. As the plant matures trichomes turn from a clear color to a milky white then finally to an amber color. Something to take into consideration when deciding when to harvest is what kind of height you are trying to achieve. In general

An important consideration has to do with one's preference for a head high or more of a body high. A good head high can positively influence one's mental state much like a psychedelic; whereas a good body high is more similar to a narcotic effect. Generally, head highs tend to be more up and body highs tend to be more down. Suffice it to say that a good healthy mix of the two is a fine goal to achieve.
