What Do You Think?

For the past 2 years ive been trying to grow outside, guerilla in the woods. But ive had bad luck, i kept trying to grow in the soil that was naturally there, but somehow, they always got infested with termites, or died when they were about 4 weeks old. So i am completely abandoning this idea and the location and moving on. I need a little bit of help though on this, but be aware i know what im doing, i have a ScrOg grow inside, very nice. This is what i plan to do outside on the guerilla grow, please tell me when or where i go wrong.
Ok, i found a great place up on a rock, a huge piece of limestone, flat on top, the one side has a 20 foot cliff and the only way to get to it is from the north side of it. Then to get through it, you have to go through some poison ivy and some brush. The times ive gone up the in the summer, it was very toasty, and the sun shun perfectly over it.
Now, if i take 15 to 20 5 gallon buckets up there, drill holes in bottoms for proper drainage, and fill them all up with miracle grow potting soil. Then, use 20-20-20 scotts fertilizer during late veg., early budding. Test the soil to make sure it has a ph between 6 and 7. Does this sound good to anyone. Any suggestions welcome....thanks

sounds like cool lil plan idk about miracle grow being the best choice for soil but, other than that sounds possible, take some pics of this lil secret spot your talking about

alright, ill post a few tomoro. What kind of store bought soil should i use.

go to your local wal-mart or gardening center and look for a bag called "perfect potting mix" cause it really is the perfect mix, iv been using it over 7 years and i have yet to be disappointed, this soil comes with ferts and nutes to feed up to 7 months even tho you should still add nutes after the 3rd week of vegetative growth, or just ask someone that works there what would be the best soil to use for growing tomatoes they should point you right to it, good luck man

What nutes should imuse tht i can get at my local walmart or home depot......and where i live everyones noisy, gotta keep a low profile, extremely low.

idk about nutes at wal mart, they might have some decent nutes but you should check out your local gardening center they most likely have a larger variety, or you can always try ebay.

I have some nutes i use for my vegatable garden, its scotts 20-20-20 fert, can i use this?

they will prolly work man but id go with some stuff that is strictly made for herbs ya dig?

Yea, but where i live live, someones always on the news because they got busted, or some shit like tht, and here, you really do have to keep a low profile. But for my indoor grow i use miracle grow house plant food. Its liquid you put into water, it seems to work fine.
