What has happen to all OMMP people?

Yeah, I'll grow six 7 foot medical plants, and four 12 inch recreational plants... lol

I have no need or desire to finish 10 plants. The only reason I would go over 6 is out of pure laziness -- we have some seeds, and rather than sex them I'll just plant four of them and then pull the boys when they show. Last year we grew two, it was right around August 1st when the balls appeared and we ended out with one boy and one girl so we composted the boy and kept the girl.

LOL! Good on you :) For me it's more about the whole if I'm going to secure the area and grow, then by god I'm going to grow. Plan is to overgrow the thieves this year. Worst case scenario out of the 7-10 girls I'll find a couple types I like and give away the rest. But really, I'm hoping to get another 3 pounds of pot that i like which with last years 2 pounds (that I liked) gives me enough herb to last until the kid goes off to college in ~10 years (so far I've had good results with 3 year old pot, I'd like to explore how long it'll stay viable.) But really, I just like variety, and have way too much free time ;)

Edit: forgot to say, next time if you sex that way, consider turning the male into (cooking) oil or butter, there's a very usable amount of thc in the plant even if it's a boy when used that way. It won't be as strong as if you used a girl of course, BUT it'll get the job done (I've had pretty happy results from one 3' male plant and a pound of ghee in the past.)

Sorry for the delayed response... as far as butter goes, I'm the only person in this household that likes edibles, and I already have a lifetime supply of butter made from premium buds! Last years outdoor did pretty well, and right or wrong I thought at the time I could only have 24 ounces of dried bud, so I converted about a pound of pure frosty buds into butter and froze it. It's quite potent and a little goes a long way.

This year, I expect to harvest several pounds of bud from the outdoor -- and all the lower larfy buds and trimmings and any boys that show up will be composted. Too much work to trim and process it all, for our needs from a healthy outdoor we can basically take the top colas and trash the rest. If I hear of any medical patients in need, I will give them entire branches and let them trim dry and cure it themselves (assuming they knew how). I really don't have the physical room to process that much, so one way or another we'll give away the surplus.

As far as growing 10 years worth... well... good luck on that one. I actually enjoy growing, and with every grow I learn more and more, so I'm looking forward to doing it for years to come. I do like to have more on hand than I need -- that came in real handy when I lost that entire crop to PM (it was an indoor, and I had enough surplus from the previous outdoor to carry us). I'd like to always have a years worth if I can so that I'm covered if something goes wrong or I need to take a break, but that's all the back up I need.

Hehehhehee, yeah, that's definitely a way to drop your carrying amount. I was planning on going the hash route for compression as edibles have a limited effect for me (they work well but only once a day, it's rather odd.)

Not sure I'll successfully stop growing for a decade (might always toss at least one on the deck or something), but as i've had a constant (indoor) grow going for all but maybe 8 months of the last 14 years before moving here to the land of outdoor grows I'm ready to take a bloody break from the full bore growing :)

Btw, as far as trimming goes if you don't use an automated system already I highly recommend the Clean Cut M-9000S (~$200 on amazon) or similar as it works a treat to massively reduce the amount of time it takes to trim. I processed all of my crop this past nov in a grand total of 4 hours by my lonesome and my wrists were still functional as opposed to the days of scissoring things. If one is a perfectionist you can scissor cut after using the machine, but really... it's not needed. I think I posted pics in a thread on here if you want to see before and after shots. It'll even harvest mild popcorn buds, but the serious wispy popcorn ones will just be switched into bubble hash compatible trim ;)

@stsin -- I've never seen one of those before, reminds me of the gizmos some people use to defeather chickens! lol

I found your thread with the pics, so is this designed only to do wet trims? I guess that makes sense if you are going to dry on racks. Looks interesting, if August comes around and the crop is looking massive, I will definitely consider it. :)

Yup, you remove the branches from the plant then just strip the buds (I do this by hand fairly roughly) and add them to the container then rotate 4 times one way, then the other, then back to the first way. It's shockingly effective. It would likely work after you dried too, but you'd lose a ton of crystals imho (there are a few YouTube videos too). Then dry on hanging racks or paper bags etc :)

This world needs more people like you. Giving away medicine to people who need it is a great thing

Just thought i'd put my 2 cents in Grow on!

I renewed my card
How long did it take from the time you sent in the form until the time you got the card back?

Last year they said submit it 4 weeks before it expires, so we did it 6 weeks before, it took them 10 weeks to get it back to us. Just wondering if they are still that slow.

mygirls

Medical Marijuana (MOD)
Haven't got it yet its been 4 weeks already but im getting things done at the new place.. getting my build on for a roof over mygirls

I do hope ommp is here to stay!
This medicine should be plentiful and available to everyone in need! 30-60+ dollars and 1/8th is crazy time...
It's sad to see the money hungry business side of ommp. This is such a bountiful plant, and a lot of really great humans grow it.

Spread the love!! I know this isn't super pertinent to the thread, but I just wanted to throw some respects out there to the ommp community!

That sounds badass on the plant limits to at least make it safe for medical growers come harvest time and waiting time. I'm super jelly I'm not growing now. Kill me. daaaaamnnnn!

Wow a few years ago OMMP was all over the internet? Now even on FB groups there are very few left? Where did every one go? I remember some one saying internet OMMP people are hustlers and they will be gone
soon because how they treat people and there fake two face ways….LOOKS LIKE THAT GUY WAS RIGHT!
I'm here, been Ommp since 2001 and I admin a Ommp closed group on Facebook that includes Washington medical as well as rec users with over 1200 people. I hope Ommp survives on for us patients!

I'm here and there since the legalization of recreational marijuana I have not renewed my card due to the fact if every house can grow four plants and not have to pay a fee then why should I as a patient with no income and can't work due to needing a total hip and knee replacement why should I have to pay and not everyone else
Many patients dropped off for same reason. We had 4 Ommp in one household and since it went legal one dropped off to save money.

We thought about dropping it, but we do a summer outdoor on our card. I got way, way more than the 8oz. rec limit from it, enough to last us a year. Just can't do things like that within rec limits.

Patients also that don't have means to grow indoors depend on the outdoor harvest to last them like your saying..

Recent News,, as of Jan 1 over 300 stores selling to REC users have not applied for OLCC to sale to rec,, so they will be going back to Med sales only on Jan 1,
I am friends with John Sajo over on Facebook, he is the guy who spear headed measure 91,, and he has a post up on Jan 1 that says OMMP is near death, and its a big thread

I'm having the opposite problem. I can't find a grower. My last grower owned a dispensary and gave me credit there for my card. I'd trade it for medicine. I Plan to renew every year around this time. I Just saw the doc yesterday.

My grower said that lots of growers (including him) have stopped because you have to grow indoor in our area which is one of the most optimal places on Earth for outdoor.. shame, really.
