what is the secret to rolling the best joint

my wife rolls the perfect joint. it sizzles as you smoke it, she just breaks it apart really well and rolls it nice and tight.

that wife is a keeper for sure man, do u suppose u can get her 2 share her ways?

if u want make a tip out of some kinda cardboard to make sure the roach end dont get to hot to hit/hold and u get to smoke the lil bit at the end.. grind it good so it rolls tight.. and use slow burning papers

How to roll a joint ~
Step 1: Prepare a "workspace" or a clean area 1ftx1ft flat or more.
Step 2: Make sure you have the following items - cigarette papers 1.25 or 1.5 for a standard cigarette, at least 1..4g of mary jane, a wet tounge.
Step 3: Add the desired amount of mary jane to your cigarette paper.
Step 4: Shape the herb inside the joint into a cylinder by rolling the herb inside the paper.

Step 5: When the cigarette has taken shape, begin to roll the paper into a cylinder.
Step 6: Lick the gummed edge when it is near the joint and seal it. Use other papers gummed edges if needed.

Enjoy. Although as usual, enjoy with caution.

Shit man I think great white north would be an understatement. They call this the asshole of the world, and I live 13kms up it.

i just roll em the same way i roll my cigs, usually ill just add a bit of weed to the end of a cig when i roll rather than roll a full joint tho.
i have the paper the other way around to those pics, sticky bit facing away and lick it with bottom of tongue not top.

I dunno...I know there are a thousand ways....the one that works for me is to pile the "product" more so in either end, and then rolling with fingers closer to the ends, allowing the "product" to shift and migrate towards the center and even out over the entire length - that has always worked very well for me.

I have always used the same method for rolling a joint and it has never failed. Just take the paper and fold it about 3/4 of the way down like you normally would. Then take the sides of the paper and make a little "boat", with two little 'v's pointing into each other. Then just pack it tight with a matchbook or your finger, and roll it up, supporting the bud from the back. The folded edges make it so you can get enough in there without worrying too much about spillage.
YOu gotta grind that shit up though. You can't really get the right consistency by tearing it apart with your fingers, and besides, the oils on your fingers break down the resin and lessen potency because all the good stuff is stuck to your hands!

I dunno if this helps. I've pretty much completely switched to glass pipes after I read how much THC you lose smoking joints. They did studies, and you only get about 20% of the THC through a joint compared to the 55% you get from bowls.
I didn't do that study, so I don't know, but I'm not risking it. I like my pipe. Peace.

It's ok, I can't roll a decent joint for the life of me. I just chuck them in the roller. Embarrassing.
