what is this? looks like colas and elephant ear leafs small yellow flowers

So since the snow melted (feb-april) this plant started to grow. It was just a short 3-4in big leafed plant that one day in Aug suddenly had this HUGE 2in fat 13in tall cola. It was awesome looking so I started to watch it. Sadly that huge cola blew over and snapped off. Here we are in Sept and it has a bunch more fat colas. Sometimes it opens up and has small yellow flowers all over inside the cola. Id really like to know what this is. Could just be some other random weed, a random weed id still like to grow.

Any ideas?

As long as you got the drinks but do you really think that's what it is? Its leaf is WAY bigger than the ones I've seen pics of and grow differently. Either way THANK YOU! I finally know now. Its so weird because I've never seen one in person anywhere around here, has never grown here before and randomely shows up

Judging by the leaves I would say it is some kind of Lambs Ear - Stachys byzantina

Considered invasive in some places, and deer resistant due to the velvet, prickly leaves.

lol I don't know it really doesn't look like either. It has similarities to both popcorn in the look of the flower and Lamb ear with the fuzzy leafs but the leaf doesn't grow between the flower it is just a bottom bush of bigger than my hand large oval leafs.

As dannyboy said its Verbascum macrurum and part of the Mulleins family.
