Update on aphids after 24 hour. I've checked both of my girls one is a photo. Still in veg and the other is an Autoflower did spot a few of the little fuckers Still but for the most part the soapy water solution seem to work will continue until all the little bastards Are gone.
How's it looking, did the soapy water solution workout? I know someone who claims to be infested with them and does not like getting on the internet for answers to his grow, out of paranoia, so I told him I'd come over this weekend and help him out with them. I know there are many ways to kill them and they're usually pretty easy to get rid of. I have some spinosad at home I was going to take over there along with maybe some DE too but if the dish soap and water worked out well for you then we may just start with that. Also how often did you spray them with the solution?

Yeah the soapy water solution did work I sprayed every 24 hours for 3 days as well as checking every leaf and if there were some underneath the bottom sides of the leaf I took my fingers and gently rub the leaf and squish them. I did use de and sprinkled some on the soil after I watered. I used the tablespoon / 16 oz spray bottle don't know if that's the right ratio but it worked for me and didn't harm my plants. As far as the chemicals goes I did use neem oil once the one of my girls was willing to flower and was advised not to use neem oil when flowering. Good luck let me know if it works for you.

Yeah I sprayed with neem as well on my plants at week 2 or 3 of flower on my last run and they don't seem to smoke any different. I wouldn't want to spray any later than that though just because everyone says not to.. although a few people have told me they sprayed later into flower and didn't notice any bad taste..
My buddy I guess has sprayed some old school stuff they use to use back in the day, 3 times and he says it seems to kill them but then they come right back so he's thinking they're coming from/hiding out in the soil. I have a few different things we can try. Probably will start out with the soapy water and sprinkle some DE onto the soil.
I've been told as far as the ratio goes that you only need a couple drops, just enough so that the bottle isn't filled with large bubbles but if that worked for you and didn't seem to harm your plants then that's all that matters. I've only ever used neem oil but I'm pretty new, grew outside a couple times about 7 to 8 years ago when I was just a teen and now just finished up my first indoor grow..
I'll let you know our results though, shouldn't be too bad I don't think

My setup is small just a grow box and I've got two girls in there but I did pull mine out and spray the hell out of neem oil all over the floor as well. And then scratch the top layer of my soil and the pots and sprayed the hell out of it with been oil also before apply De. You're about like me got grown alot Outdoors but just a few times indoors. Gave it a break for a long time and then decided to grow a little meds for the wife.

With the Soapy solution I just run the water slow and fill the bottle up slowly cut down on the bubbles

Hey guys, not trying to butt in but I'm fighting these lil' bastards myself.

Aphids can kill the hell out of a plant fast. They destroyed my big skunk girl this year. They started in on other plants nearby but I got them under control by learning exactly how they kill plants. It's their shit that kills. The little black dots that appear are their shit piles that give your plant a viral disease that destroys leaves fast.

With this in mind, it helped my other plants by spraying soap mix every 3rd day and straight water on the days in between. While I sprayed with some Nuke Em and Force of Nature to help slow em down, it helped when I started cleaning the underside of my leaves daily.I use a mister but adjust the nozzle close to jet. It will blast the poop and aphids off. It's not cure but slows down their killing ways.

NOTE: My gals are outside and I spray in the mornings.

Don't know if this is any help but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Good Luck!

I got mine under control wiped the little bastards Plum out took a few days. Haven't had a problem since. Appreciate the extra info. They say the adult females can lay eggs two or three times a day didn't know if you knew that or not.

Well he was actually infested with spider mites too. The aphids seemed to be dead with the the stuff he'd been spraying but there were spider mites EVERYWHERE. We sprayed them down with spinosad and sprinkled DE on top of his soil. Next time he waters he's going to today a soil drench with the spinosad and also spray two more times every 3 days and see where he's at after that. He has about 6 weeks of flower left so we'll see what happens. The plants were infested but he's only trying to get seeds out of this run so if he can keep them alive he'll be alright

Sounds like he has his hands full. I've never had spider mites and hope I never do. Sounds like you got plan of attack for him. I was reading some where that making a tomato tea and using it would work something that the tomato produces tears them up. If I remember correctly. I'm glad he is only looking for seed this run. Good luck thanks for the update let me know how it all plays out.
