What light to pick

What light do I pick it is between solar extreme 250 are minisun 2 are the farmlite 320 watt what do you think

Kinda depends on the area and how many plants you want. I'm just leaning about LEDs. Liking them so far. Read all you can before ya buy. I'm sure some guys will pipe in here. I'm just reading along and maybe learn some tips.

I done my 1st grow 4 years ago and started straight with led and brought 240w quantum board from Kingbrite in china, off ali baba… before that I had brought so many purple lights and just complete crap.

The led from Kingbrite was lm301b diodes with 660n reds and was around £150 roughly and it was a very good light.

i just started again and brought another 2 off eBay for £60 each. They work so well and blast out some serious light.

This is the 2 I grew with it … super orange glue And the quality of the bud was unreal and it was my 1st grow..

Very rarely do you see quality, performance, and price meet at a desirable point, but I think viparspectra has come very close. All their fixtures are solid, and we'll built. Par maps are decent, awesome on the xs1500. My plants love them, and their customer service is amazing. Grab them on sale, and I think you'll find them pretty hard to beat for the price

Agree wholeheartedly.

I'm a software engineer and we talk about "You can have is soon, you can have it good, you can have it cheap. Pick two." That's an adaptation of the "iron triangle" engineering. The XS 1500 is a good little light (I use one for fill lighting) but Vipar stood rule on its head with the XS-1500 Pro.

My jaw dropped when I saw the PPFD map on that and my thinking was "Mars, Spider, etc. just hate that light.". cocoforcannabis did a review of the light and absolutely loved it. In addition to confirming the light output, he explains how Vipar is getting such a great PPFD map.

In the 2' market, I don't think there's anything that comes close.

In the 2' x 4', growers choice had a Program 320 that was a clone of the Growcraft flower light and that was $320 but it's off the market. Atreum has a nice 2' x 4' light but it's in the $300+ range and they seem to have trouble keeping lights in stock. Vipar is selling a pair of XS-1500 Pro's connected using a bracket and it's $200±. Wow.

Another vote for kingbrite they're excellent quality, 480w delivered £252, due to the Individual cost I had no import duty or tax to pay.

For total budget light a mars tsl or tsw 100, the one Migro voted #1 budget light iirc

looking at the first light ya man said he was thinking of getting I would definitely get the Kingbrite, they are very Good lights and very cheap.

yeh I love my vipar p2000 the thing is a beast.
