Hey I don't know if this is the right thread but ah well, so I have a hydroponic garden and I want nice dank buds from me og kush and powerplant, 1 power , 2 og kush because I'm still starting, they clones but I have a big garage that I can grow but I hear cfls produce crappy buds and leds also just don't cut it, I'm looking into hps for veg and flower but they cost for the ballast and they cost too much a month so please help me.

Get yourself a 400 watt conversion bulb setup something similar to this https://www.htgsupply.com/Product-HTGSupply-Ultimate-400w-HPS-&-MH-Grow-Light
You can run MH through the veg period as long as you want and use the same light ( just change the bulb) for flowering. Its one of the cheapest ways you can get by if you want to do better ( much better ) than CFL bulbs
Just my opinion of course. There are dozens of lighting options. I tried when I started out using CFL but they just produce enough yield. Now I use them in my nursery for the babies but thats all I use them for these days.
