What nail do I need for my setup?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what kind of nail do I need for this setup? Basically do I need my domeless ti nail I get to be a male or a female fitting. The water pipe I am using is this.

So for that downstem, would I get a male nail...?

And then say for a downstem like this.

That would use a female nail?



Now the next thing is, I can't really remember what size I have. I've heard of using a penny/dime/nickel type of deal to see what size I have? Thanks for the help everyone, I'm really brain farting on this lol. I usually use glass nails but they are hit or miss really. Ive had ones on pipesdaddy last 200+ dabs and then ones from Esty or ebay last 10.. The nails I am thinking of getting are between these.

That's a male and takes a female bowl. Its to protect the glass..I got one of these

Cause I'm cheapo and it was my first one to try out. That is a male (opposite what you want) it has the ceramic dealy to protect the glass from expanding horror cracking your piece. A female sits on the outside so when it expands..no cracking

Slightly confused by your post, lol. If you don't know what size it is just measure the diameter, hehe. I'm guessing its 14mm but could be 18mm, all of mine are 18.

That first bubbler looks like a direct inject stem, right? Meaning that downstem is part of the glass and doesn't come out? Those style rigs are designed for nails that just sit down inside, like in the picture.

The domeless(skillet/slot) nails you've pictured are all meant to fit on to that male downstem.

NOW, lol. IF your gonna dab on Ti, that is prob one of the better styles.

And I've tried just about every way possible to consume concentrates outside of the Cera. And the concentrate bowl and wands are unmatched. Better in every aspect for dabbing. Hell some people even smoke herb with it.
