Hiya, I was wondering what nutrients to use its my first grow and wanted something that wont burn the roots so easy. I would also be looking at cost I dont want to spend that much what are the cheapest to buy which work average and i could mabe pick up from a local store rather than ordering and paying delivery? Also how do you actually feed them nutrients do you mix them into water?

I was advised these nutrients already:

Pro Sensi Advanced Nutreints
Vitalink

Please help and apologise if i got anything wrong as am a Newbie lol!! :D

you want nutes that have nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. when the plants are in their veg cycle the nutrients you use should be high in nitrogen and low in potassium, and phosphorus. and vice versa for flowering. really your nutrient water should be mixed to your specifics and that of your plants, but there are instructions on the bottles that will tell you many nutes per capita of water. its usually measured in TBS or tsp per gallon.

go with biobizz biogrow and bio bloom, thats what i use. biogrow for veg and biobloom for flowering. you can expand on to other things as you learn the ropes. like molasses and foilar feeds and so on.

Anyone use DNF? if so do you like them or is there something else out there that would give better results? also DNF has a bloom fortifier thats 0-50-60 (or close to it) any results on that stuff?

when i put my clones on 12/12 i put in a quarter shot of veg nutes until i see flowers then going to change out the res and give full bloom nutes but i was wondering if i can put in a 50/50 mix of veg/bloom instead of just veg when i put them on 12/12?

i'm so stupid should of just wrote one paragraph but i just did a wake and bake LOL!!!! when i mix up my 2 part DNF gro and or bloom and have some extra in the bottle it always creates a white sediment that builds up at the bottom. Is this some kind of chemical reaction between the two being mixed and left together? When i used the stuff that was sitting mixed for a week it didnt even register on my ec/ppm metre. Why does it do this? I put in some new stuff and it registered fine.

can someone let me know if these nutes are good enough on there own or if i should be adding nutes with it. Here are a couple pics of bottles there an a-b formula any help will be appreciated

Things are looking good so far, but I think adding some nutes is really going to ramp things up.

I'm a big fan of Big Bud because it lives up to its name. Seriously. More flowers and a heavier weight in the end. ANd yes, it sounds like a commercial, but it's totally true.

If you can only afford one nute, Big Bud is the one to choose. It's also got a lower concentration of phosphorus, letting the plant grow big and strong without some nasty effects: a harsh smoke and too much ash.

Advanced Nutrients Big Bud also has a higher K ratio to help boost the plant health. And I've seen the difference. Other nutes seem to try to shove nutrients in the plant, but the plant doesn't need a bunch of P in order to grow.

But they do need a fair amount.

Oh, and if you want to have one other special trick up your sleeve on your grow, I'd get Final Phase. This helps to flush out any remaining nutes from the plants at the end, making the plant taste clean and fresh...delicious.

Yeah, you could get the whole line of nutes, but why rush it? Try a few, see how they work and then try a few more when you've got the hang of the first ones.

I have heard alot of good stuff about ADVANCED NUTRIENTS but my local hydro store doesnt carry them. He has alot of Dutch Master, DNF alot of Dutch stuff. I've never seen any AN, FF, or anything like that in my hydro store that everyone talks about on here

buy from here http://www.jacksclassic.com/order_now.html

Use either the 20-20-20 or the 30-10-10 for veg. (I use 30-10-10 with Fox Farms Happy Frog) After the stretch (about 3 weeks into 12/12) switch to the 10-30-20. If you notice any leaves starting to lose color, switch back to the veg food to keep the leaves green and healthy.

YOUR ONLY PRIORITY IS TO KEEP EVERY LEAF GREEN AND HEALTHY

ignore all the bullshit about foods that increase bud size etc. it's all marketing bullshit
