For the Second Time, DEA Ignores Obama's Statements, Raids Four L.A. Dispensaries


Dear ASA Supporter,

They must think we’re just going to sit back and take it.
Yesterday, the DEA simultaneously raided four medical cannabis dispensing collectives in Los Angeles. This is the second time, in as many weeks, that the DEA has defied President Obama’s campaign pledges to not use federal resources to undermine state medical cannabis laws.
Our community is in an uproar and we are not going to take this lying down! We need you to ACT!.
The L.A. Times even published an article suggesting that maybe DEA hadn’t gotten the memo that Bush is out?
The U.S. Senate just confirmed Attorney General Eric Holder to lead the Department of Justice under the Obama Administration. We expect this to be the FIRST and LAST of the DEA raids under Eric Holder’s leadership. President Obama said he would stop the raids, and we aim to hold him to his word.
Enough is enough! Please make two short phone calls so that both the President and the Attorney General know that people are sick and tired of DEA interference and intimidation in medical cannabis states. Tell your federal government that you will not tolerate wasteful spending by having DEA harass innocent civilians with smash and grab tactics.
First call President Obama at (202) 456-1111, and then call Attorney General Eric Holder at (202) 353-1555. Be sure to call during office hours, Monday – Friday, 9am -5pm.
Use this script for both:
"Hi, my name is ___________. For the second time under President Obama, the DEA conducted raids on multiple medical marijuana dispensaries in California, despite the President’s pledge to end federal threats, intimidation, and interference in states that have medical marijuana laws. Patients and providers should not have to live in fear of the DEA. Please help us and stop these raids now!."
This is our chance under President Obama. We have to get his attention, and we need your help.

Surely they could find something different to spend our money on our state is now giving iou's for state tax returns WTF? makes me want to open a dispensary up (which I'm in the process of getting goin) so F*** you DEA PIG FUCKERS SUCK A FAT ONE~!!!!

in my experience calling the government only creates customer service jobs for relatives of corrupt politicians. if you want action i would hound your local reps in congress and senate letting them know what is on your mind with letters and asking questions at public appearances. you elected them. you will decide if they get re-elected.. good luck AND don't forget the "GOLDEN RULE" HE WHO HAS THE GOLD MAKES THE RULES

I think everyone of us, should buy a cheap bag of bird seed. Then mail one ounce of these bird seeds to the DEA, in a thick envelpoe with a plain peace of paper inside that says "Marijuana Seeds - Grow Your Own - Stop Stealing Ours."

Please don't use a real return address. Use a Congressman's address or the address of a local Church. Then let's phone the the New York Times about the hundreds of thousands of seeds being sent to the DEA.

They spent 11 million tax dollars going after Tommy Chong - for selling bongs. Let them test all the seeds we send them. Maybe after the dumbasses - spend a million or so, testing bird seeds - Obama will put the smack down on their asses........ Or at least they will look like complete dumbasses to the non-smoking public.....

& my donated time = the best $ 5 I've spent in a while.....

Actually Obama made a formal statement ordering the DEA to respect states medical marijuana laws the other day. Some time after the incident the op is talking about.

That should be the end of that and med patients everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief. For us, the war is over.

Should they pull their dicks out and try to fuck someone medical related again it's going to hurt, for them as much as the next victim.
