What to do with 30 cubic feet?

Hi, long time lurker here

I've got a rubbermaid closet that will be turned into a cfl grow cab. There is a top section that will be used for ventilation and cord storage.

The bottom section of the cabinet is divided vertically into two 2'wide x 1.5' deep x 4' tall sections

I can install shelves as needed to segment these two sections further.

I am planning on using part of the space to house a mother plant and part of the space to flower (all of this will be done with cfls)
I figured I could root clones outside of the cabinet

I have some of my own ideas, but I thought I would just ask you guys to see how other people would use this space

Thanks for the input!

have you thought about using a auto strain?? plastic tub should fit right in each side and could put 6x 2gal pots(8 if you cram them) or maybe a deep tub full of soil and do deep bed grow, could stagger each side 4 weeks apart and harvest every 4 weeks... now you said cfl but you have not said what watt, how many,ect...if it was me I would find a way to open the whole bottom and stick a 400hps in there..lol...I have a 400hps in a 2x2 tent though..lol..

You may be able to squeeze a 4 light 2 ft t5 lamp in there. Just remember all lights put out some heat.

I would say put some t5s vertically on the walls bc a t5 on top isn't going to penetrate very far down. Or use pl-l 55watt bulbs vertically.

How much are you needing to yield. If one side is going to be a mother side go ahead and out a shelf on that side maybe a foot tall for starting clones.

I just took out the middle wall as suggested. I think that was a solid idea.

I spent a lot of time reading about professor's set up and am VERY interested in doing the same thing now. t5 seems like the way to go

It looks like I might be able to fit a 6 lamp quantum badboy in there.
http://www.thehydrosource.com/Lighting/Fluorescent_Lighting/T5_Fixtures/Quantum_T5_Badboy/Quantum_Badboy_T5_4_Lamp

I was bummed when I realized my space was an inch shy of 4'. But it seems like the quantum light fixture is actually only 46.25'' wide!
Here are the specs:
6 Lamp
12 lbs
In Box: 49.2 x 10.4 x 6.1
Assembled: 46.25 x 18 x 3.5

My space is 47'' wide, 20'' deep, and 47'' tall

So it seems like I should be able to squeeze this 6 lamp fixture in there with .375'' of space on each side. Does that seem like a ridiculously ambitious feat, or do you think I could pull it off?

Also it should be noted that at this point I am planning on doing a SCROG

(pics up soon)

Finally got some pics of the cab. Also, 4 posts in a row just from me. This is quite possibly the loneliest thread ever.

I'm really curious to know if that t5 mentioned above is actually going to work... Also I'm assuming that the fixture I mentioned holds so-called "4 foot bulbs" (even though the bulbs must actually be an inch or two shorter than 4')

Thanks for the input guys!
