Just to be clear that's not me in the pic. It's the reverse cover to the catalogue.
I'd like the chunk of hash though.

Hippy what do you recommend for a good hash strain right now?
There are some good old school Dutch breeder that have HP in their collection. Try Shantibaba's or Sensi. Some nice west coast strains still availible too, you just need to search them out and do your research. Hash Plant was/is my favourite strain, hands down.

You still have the original hash plant?? Best dry sift strain ever!! I ran some hp haze but it's not the same...
Hash plant is definitely in my top 3 all time...

Really miss the Northern Lights from the early 80s.. to many strains getting mixed together these days.. imo
I hear ya, seems like mostly ANY type of Kush crossed with something else. The past 5-6 yrs have been so meh with all the Kush

Still a nice california hashplant cut floating around and too much "kush" on the bm all the shitty m39 growers switched to a kush.
From what I've seen most breeders are breeding hash monsters these days because of how many people prefer hash/oil to flower.

M39 Originates from the earlier version of that catalogue and is actually in the pictures posted of the catalogue here as well. I get it, most people grow it terribly but Ive definitely had some good M39. Its got solid lineage

True I did come across some good m39 a few times but found the effects to be short lived/mild but most/the poorly grown stuff wasn't even worth smoking.

M39 is from SSSC not Nevil. the "m39" is a catalogue number. skunk 1 X basic 5.

M39 in the right hands and genetically intact could do great things. I began growing m39 in 1985, sold thousands of clones and grew truck loads of it in bc years ago.

If you mean hippies in general..... Mazar Sharrf from northern Afghanistan. grown properly the buds are almost hash when you harvest it. Find landrace seed(s). insanely high thc, bug & mold resistant. very large Trichomes. tastes just like the Afghani freedom hash from the 1980's as that is what they used to produce that black luv.
