whats a good auto strain for yield?

I have grown autos before. I grew some lowryder#2 and I got about an ounce off each plant. I was just using CFLs for lighting. I have a 150 hps and a small grow tent now. I would love some suggestions. Here was my lowryder#2.

Lowryder #2 is good yielding plant, so is the cross with the ak 47, another of the joint doctor product. If you top them rather young before pistils start to sprout though you can stunt the plant and increase yield. instead of one rather dense cola you get 2-4. I average 35-45g per auto by this method

Do NOT top an auto, you are asking for trouble if you do.

As for strains, Afghan Kush Ryder from WOS produces excellent yields, and the smoke is dank too, nice and fruity.

you see Greenhouse seeds NORTHERNLIGHTS AUTO? they say 100-150g's per plant grown outdoors, probably higher under lights, should look into AUTO MAZAR too some guy got 360g's off of one auto under 300w LED

Id go with the afgan kush ryder. Great high and a very good yielder.

Big devil strains, one is topped and the other is not, of course all phenotypes differ between seeds but i can say that as long as the auto flower is topped early enough that it won't have a loss of production. Wait to long to clip her though and you will take out your main cola, and shock her when energy is being used for flowering...i usually wait for the 3rd or 4th set of leaves.View attachment 2179494

What is the point in topping an auto? All your doing is risking stressing the plant out and ruining the yield, you wouldnt gain much if anything at all.

i suppose we all have our own grow preferences and what works for some doesn't work for others.

at 7 days after germination, i recently harvested a NL quto that was topped above the first node (not above the cotyledon). awesome yield with double colas. just went into jar so no good smoke report now. the little i tried before putting into the jar was realllllly good.
