What's In Your Garden?

looks good my friend. My garden got rained to death about a month ago, I miss it. Still got the indoor garden, which I love, but it's not the same thing. I've been experimenting with a worm casting tea supplemented with kelp meal and a pinch of humic acid on my indoor garden, great results. My girls look LUSH! Any pointers or recipes on the compost teas, anybody?

just throw a handfull of compost in a bucket and airate for 24h. No need for all the molasses and crap.

This is a garden I designed for my wife's families "family shared" garden. I get all the fresh veggies and fruit I can handle. I especially like the two different varieties of bananas grown there.

These photos are a very small example of what we have up there. I forgot to take photos of the mango trees!

3 different kinds of lettuce, tons of cabbage (for gimchi and other dishes) and beans. Harvested the sweet and baby corn already so no photos of those.

Really nice pics, man. I can tell you enjoy your garden, that's awesome. I can also tell you wrap bacon around grilled stuffed peppers, and that's freaking brilliant. Fully gonna try that one. Thanks to all the folks that have posted in here, I really enjoy checking out your posts and pics. Mmmm, home-grown food. Nothing better.

Mmmm, my aunt used to make the best smoked pepper salsa. Smoked vegetables are hugely underrated, but so good... Kudos, that's brilliant.

I like shade things. The sun is so giving me skin cancer

I have an indoor "other" garden too (journal link in sig), but my backyard veggie garden looks so good lately that I wanted to share a couple pics and invite anyone else to do the same. I'd love to see pictures of other people's vegetables, herbs, flowers, whatever you have that you want to share. Feel free to tell us how you garden, what you feed your veggies, or why you like to grow your own food. I garden because farming goes back a long way in my family, and growing my own food is not only delicious and inexpensive, but also very satisfying. I love my tomatoes almost as much as my indoor plants, ya know? I'm growing 2 kinds of tomatoes, lettuce, broccolli, cucumbers, and a variety of squash, as well as an herb garden in the front yard. My veggies mostly get fed the run-off from my "other" plants, but I do feed them guano and cheap blooming nutes this time of year when they look hungry. Please feel free to post and share your gardens!
