whats more potent than y griega?

supposedly y griega is 27% thc and is the second highest ever recorded. whats higher? i know its just what these companies claim and not necessarily true. but according to the company that makes it http://en.medicalseeds.net/catalogo/16/ its the 2nd highest but they dont say whats higher. i also got it ordered. hoping its as good as they say.

they used to have a disclaimer right on their sight saying pretty much that all the details were made up and were for entertainment purposes only, which is pretty screwed up imo..

i had thought that they folded, but i haven't tried checking out their site for awhile now.. oh yah, they also used to have one strain that was like 5 beans for $5k or some crazy shit like that..

i used to love the description of their love bud.. it went something like this...

smoke this bud with someone you want to get very close to as after smoking a joint of this, they will shortly fall in love with you .... or something pretty similar..

never heard of bc seeds. i trust very few companies. single seeds, nirvana, and attitude are a few. http://boards.cannabis.com/growing-information/163704-bc-seeds.html not liking what im seeing on a google search. i've had g13 from several different growers. most of them were excellent. but i wouldnt say any of them were superior in potency. although i never had them tested with gas chronography.

so has anyone ever grown y greiga?

Yes I am doing it right now. you want to scrog it. i can get pics but its only in like the 3rd or 4th week of flower. It's 80% sativa so it has a long transition time. because of that, it doesnt have much for buds showing yet compared to my other strains. i can get pics but it's nothing special yet. never ordered seeds from attitude or nirvana myself but i hear both are good.

I too fell victim to Y Greiga...I have always been leery of potency claims. Seedbanks are not regulated, they can claim anything they want. If you don't burn up your grow with heavy nutes, drown them with over water or the myriad of other challenges that accompany a grow, your doing all right, just about any strain from major seed banks will do.

I use Pro-Mix BX, worm casting tea, bat and bird guano. I see your using soil from your property, you should never do this because of Spider Mites and other pests. If you see your grow slowly being destroyed its something you won't forget.

Not sure if this will be of any help to you but I've been lucky using this site http://en.seedfinder.eu/ Here your able to look up your seed's strain lineage. Where then look up both parents traits and kind of get a better guess if what the strengths may be true from what they are claiming. They also have where you can look up the mentioned strength in the comments section where people claim to have grow it them selves which combining the both I have been lucky so far. Hope this helps. we grew a Y plant outside this year under a scrog method. most amazing plant we've ever grown. our own soil mix, only organic ferts, 17 gallon bucket. ended with 19.33 oz. It could handle everything we could throw at it fertilizer-wise and required more Cal-Mag than the others we grew this summer. Most of the larger buds were 8-14 inches in length and around 6 inches circumference. we pruned out a lot of the smaller lower branches to focus the plant's energy on the main colas. Seemed to have worked well.

We lost about an ounce due to some bud rot as we had some crazy-ass weather in september with storms. We harvested 2 weeks early and the reviews from friends have been over the top. Not only it is high in THC, it tastes amazing. Will grow another one next year. I'll post some photos of it later once i d/l from my phone.

Strains are testing out in the 30's...now.

GTH is so,,yesterday... GG4, Dos i dos, Quatro, so many strains can go over that magical 30% mark, it's not a joke anymore.

Potentials have risen. There are things out there that some wouldn't believe...... ever heard of Psycho Lizard? Triple Purple Rhino?

who gives fuck about thc though? theres much more responsible for effects than thc.
ghost train haze is a much better smoke and more potent than the Y, because I said so.(its all subjective)

Most everyone walking into an outlet....
And yet, what's the first thing to sell out on shelves? The most potent thing in the shop....
I'am stuck looking at it from a business standpoint. I was in it for a long time.

I prefer some of my more flavorful strains myself. Plt Banana OG is off the hook for smell a taste.....Oh, wait a minute.....it's over 30% too. Huge sativa blast, that rocks Blue Dreams balls off!
Then of course there's the Fruity Pebbles. NOT in the 30% club but, one of my favorite smokes for flavor and buzz.
My ECSD has banged 28+ and that classic flavor....Just lovely..

I get your point but, by far the street buyers want the BANG! They hear the talk of the GG/Dos I Dos/Faceoff/Ghoji and say to them selves, "I gotta have it"..... GTH was "the" thing for awhile. GG and so on. It'll be that way until there are no more "CUPS" and reports by HT on "the worlds strongest strain". Got news for them. The worlds strongest strain. Did not show up at their cup.....

You are correct though......subjective!
