side by side comaparisons... after a 10 day period..... nothing worked best... Dip-N-Grow came in second

For this experiment they used cutting 3" clones and dipped them in one of 3 rooting hormones and 1 with nothing
* Olivias cloning gel
* Clonex cloning gel
* Dip 'n grow liquid
* No hormone

plain old tap water will work just fine, throw in any other hormone you wish. Find a combination that works for you and stick with it, 100% clone rooting guarenteed.

people keep saying how easy cloning is, but i've tried so many setups its not even funny anymore...i can't get cuttings to root even with an aeroponic propagator...

rockwool, clonex, scalpel, thrive alive, superthrive, humidity dome, heating mat, propagation tray. that's what i use.

I also use a cloner I made myself for around $30...100% success rate with one week in the cloner and then they are ready for soil or coco

Im gonna give all you guys a secret.....Im sure any cloning gel/powder works good, but I use clonex, AN sensi A&B, and last but not least home and garden roots excelurator. I dip the rockwool into a premixed solution of sensi AB and roots excelurator PH'd at about 5.5 and after 7 days....yes 7 days, I get rooted clones. This has worked for me everytime I have done it and clones always rooted within 7 days and I have tried this with different strains with the same results in 7 days....I am sure its the roots excelurator that is making them root so fast

I'm gonna try cloning first time this season out grow. I'm gonna take cuts when plants are two months old. If all goes good,
1) how much big the clone will be ?
2) clone and mother will be ready to harvest the same time? Outside grow, thx :leaf:

Dont know much about outdoors, but my guess is that yes your plants will be ready to harvest at same time since nature waits around for nobody, but the mother plant should be slightly bigger than the clone, depending on how big the clone you cut was because she was two months older than the clones.

I took a clone from a plant indoors after 7 days flowering and vegged for 2 weeks and that clone is currently in flowering with the mother plant and she is already the same height as the mother at 3 weeks flowering while the mother is at 7 weeks flowering if that is any help to your question

damn bro check out the basics...i clone in soil......usually about 30% perlite.....check out x nutrients...all there nutes are top of the line....beat clonex to a pulp......either get x nutes or ur basic dip n grow from walmart......when u take ur cuttings put them in a glass of ph balanced water so air cant get inside...dip....place in soil...spray with a mister(lightly) cover the top with saran wrap...PS if your cloning a plant that you have given nutes to...u have to flush it!!!! all the starches get built up making it harder to clone and that may be why yours arent rooting...i usually get a (90)% success rate

if you are propagating in aero cloners the best cloning solution is none at all. the plant makes it's own hormone and the gels always clogged the manifold and misters in the cloners. i never tried cloning solutions but it makes sense they would wash off. i got roots starting in 4 days and they were ready to go in ten days. i also tried propagating in soil. slooooow process:)
