no, its actually a 14watt cool white at 2700k, i use 3 in mine, been slowly converting over to led bulb with diffusers taken off, the lowest they go for me is 3000k cool white

What's the minimum watts with CFL I would need to flower in your opinion?

No less than 300 actual watts for veg and flower. What chages is the light spectrums for veg 6500k for flower 2700k. Gl
Think that's more of a + or - thing, last grow in my closet little under 200 honestly when i added it up. This grow is actually a little lower and coming in fine......it's a good number to shoot for though.

i like to split mine, i use to surge protectors, one side as all the 6500k bulbs, and the other side when i want to flip to flower is the 2700K blubs, but you still leave the 6500k bulbs on, this increases the wattage use during flower....

Dude, just go to home depot and buy the 23 watt (100 equivalent) in 4 packs for $9 something. Mix it up, 2700k and 6500k,

23w led 100w equiv is a lie. even cobs are not that efficient. florescent is the most inefficient. florescent 1.2 umole/watt, hid 1.8-1.9 umole/watt, de hid 2.1-2.2 umole/watt, led 2.4 umole/watt
cmh 3.8 umole/watt, cob 4 umole/watt. I am still waiting for someone to power a cob with a lfsw driver bet that would change the market

I'm planing to use CFL light bulbs because Easy to find and easy to use I find.
whatever your light covers is what it will grow, in flower youll need to basically double your lumens. i had a 4x2.5 and had around 18 1600 lumen bulbs and they vegged fine anythng outside of that area didnt do as well and they began to suffer from lack of lumens. id say per plant not area when using cfls. and that will depend on how big the plant is and if you have an even canopy or not
