What's up what's up? - veg too long ?

Hey RIU !

This is my first attempt to grow .

I have (2) THC BOMB - 1 SFV - (2) Mendo Kush .
The sfv and mendo kush seeds came from an oz I got lol..
THC bomb is purchased . All seedling under a mars hydro 300.

I do plan on moving into COB or even quantum boards next grow . But for now . Two 300s will be enough for me to learn .

As you can see In photos , one of the plants is vegged longer - it's one of the THC BOMB . Currently 5 weeks veg time . I'm leaving out of town march 24-27 . If I flip into flower after my trip . Will it be too big ??
& how are my plants doing ? Any constructive criticism welcome .

(I plan on buying a 3x3 tent )

Clear containers are bad for root development.

That's going to be tight. I've done four and after the stretch, there is no room.Hard to water, etc. How much height? About 70inches? Keep an eye on height.
How long are you going to be out of town? Once you flip, they really stretch for a couple of weeks. Sometimes I find I have to move the light every night when they really get going.
What kind of soil you using? They look like they are getting plenty of N.
I usually veg for about 6 weeks. Now this current grow, I'm using a soil I whipped up and I HAD to flip them at five weeks because they were getting too big. And that's with topping them several times.

Thanks ! Haha . I'm leaving the 24-27 th . so it's only a few days . So I should flip after my trip ?

IMHO, yes. And good catch bareback on the clear containers, didn't even notice that!
Water them good and put a mulch on them when you're away.
