finally found the culprit. i know there are numerous species though. this is the only one i've been able to photograph.

its almost kinda cute being all fuzzy and whatnot... almost...

that bud would have been over 2 ounces when finished it is only one of many. almost EVERY cola still outside has damage. i have lost almost a lb already.

... theres gotta be a better way... any specific predators of budworms that you could keep around?

there were little spiders living in plants when i released 100 mantis. i actually saw a spider running across a leaf with a mantis in his mouth.
