When And Where Do I Cut?????????

my ladies are about 5 weeks and 3 days... the bottom leaves are turning yellow then browning a lil??? i guess this is normal???? do i cut the yellowing leaves off at the main stalk??? or do i leave about a half inch of the branch???? also... has anyone let there plants sit in 24 hours of darkness b4 starting the 12/12 cycle?? i read that it helps them adjust to the new lighting?????

you wanna leave those fan leaves on until they pretty much die then pull. the plant uses the stored energy in the fan leaves..helps the plant mature faster

yeah what shnazul23 said i wouldn't cut the leaves.

theyre shriveled and yellow and laying on the soil???? i dont think they have anything stored in them lol the yellow fan leaves i leave on there yes untill they look completely dead????.. should i leave the dead leaves on there????? doesnt dead vegatation put out bad co2 that the plants wont like???

i used to pull fan leaves off but this time i left them on due to some RIU feedback and i'm getting a sturdier growing plant and so far the buds are much bigger than their mothers.
