When should i cut back on light plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have 4 babies that has been up for about 2 and a half weeks. Was using cfls but it got to be a problem adjusting light. So i went with a 175w hps and a 175w mv for vegitation. People have been telling me that my mv is not doin as good as a mh. Should i change my mv and also im using all foxfarm produces, when is a good time to switch from24-7light to 18-6 or is there any need. Im all ears with tips and hints. Keep blazing

i don't know what mv means,but a metal halide bulb should be better,and you can swith to 18/6 whenever you want.so today if you want.

i know people have grown 2 plants in 1 pot before,but really you should keep it to 1 plant per pot.

If mv means mercury vapor then you are doing it all wrong. Throw the mv bulb in the trash and just use the HPS and CFLs from start to finish.

agreed. MV is old school and not great for herbs. Go big with the CFLs or whatever you use. For flowering HPS is right, but you are a long way from having anything worth smoking.

your plants (my guess) have been overwatered and are showing a little chlorosis (yellowing). You have tiny plants in medium pots so water carefully.

You will want to flip to 12/12 when your plants are 10 to 24 inches depending on sativa vs indica. Sativas stretch and need to be flowered young as they may triple in height after 12/12 is initiated. Indica doesn't stretch and will only get about 50% taller after 12/12

the two plants together is some ol bullshit my buddy had growing on his porch. They r dro seeds but in yard dirt. (goin to throw in trash soon) but the two in the single pots are bubble kush and i took the advice and did away with the MV and just when with the MH and HPS. And can tell a difference with in 2 hours. Im going to take the advice and go back to 18-6. Thanks for all the help fellows. Anything else I need to know just shoot it to me.
