When to flip a scrog grow

8 weeks old from seed coco grow strain is black widow from ilgm 65indica 35sativa plant tops out around 3feet if left untouched should I flip now or in a few weeks?

The plant coming through the trellis could get flipped now if you want, it will stretch and fill out the canopy nicely at the size it is.

I plan on laying down a 2nd net should I just let er rip once the other plant hits the top? Also what yeild should I expect? Canopy is 2.5x2.5

yes you definitely could flip once that second plant gets a little closer. what light are you using?

Optic 1xl with corn led and flood lights for added spectrum

What your gonna harvest has way to many variables to make an estimated guess. The plant looks great though keep it up

I am day 65 since flip and I still dont know what I will harvest from eight plants. I'm hoping for about 2 pounds

If you flip now, I dont think you'd need another screen. You flip now, and you'll be tucking for 2 weeks to fill out the rest, and have some nice coals with minimal steam coming thru.

For a second screen, I would wait till 85-90% of your current screen is filled. Never done a second screen myself tho

Did some measuring work a 120deg lens on my light I can get within 15inches of the tops so I’ll gain an extra 5inches of vertical room as of right meow my distance from wire to light is 40” during flower my light can go as low as 15” so I’m left with 25” of room vertically speaking to work with so I figured I can let them grow to 8 inches Above the wire screen flip them and have enough wiggle room if they triple stretch on me

Idk though they only reach 3 foot indoors Maby 4 it’s a 65%indica/35%sativa hybrid but right now I can tell that she is a bitch to train just by how thick her canopy is and all the little tiny branches
