when to harvest

Hello all...i was wondering if someone could tell me the exact best time to harvest...i have heard to harvest when tricones are mostly cloudy and some clear....and i have heard to wait until you see some amber....which is best...thank you for any advicce you can give

i'm playing with my harvest time now. 5 weeks ago, i harvested my cheese with cloudy/clear tricomes. the top, from the same plant, is almost ready but i'm going to wait till milky/amber tricome appear. just to see which, what i like better.
i've read that its strain vs personal preference. each strain, harvested at different times, will give you different effects. you may have to find what works for you.
Disclaimer: i'm no pro, but i'm smoking my own harvest!!

Expirement and harvest some buds early, others late. Observe differences in flavor, high, and bud structure. If you keep running that strain you will know what to look for and what suits you... and atleast get a better idea for the next grow with any strain
