Where is all the information about the BINs?

I'm troubled about all the LED growlight companies. They never state the single most important thing about the LED's they use, the efficiency bin-code.
I'm surprised that not even one company uses it as argumentation for why people should buy their lights.
A company may say, we use all-american made Cree XP-E LED's, but what does this actually tell us?
The Cree XP-E are the newest LED's from Cree, but they are missing the bin code of the LED's.
For example, they state that they have blue LED's, now they might be using the lowest Bin's, the highest or most likely, a mix of them.
But, what if a company intentionally uses all the best bin's in the first 100 lights they sell, making those lights much better, and this will create a good reputation about the light. But then after they've established the reputation, they go ahead and use the cheaper bin's to make more money.
I believe what the LED growlight market needs to flourish is, for companies to be open about their information, just be honest...

For people confused about the bins, let me give an example

A high end vegetative grow light (all blue for the ease of the example) uses the XP-E Cree Deep blue LED's, driven at 350mA each (roughly 1.1 watts each)

One 110 watt's light with the lowest bin produces 35 watts of light (35000 mW)

but the High bin 110 watt's of light produces 50 watts of light (50000 mW)

That is a 42% difference!

The problem about this, is that it is very hard to control, that is why companies have the opportunity to scam. And I'm afraid some actually do.

Very well said! great thread my friend!
The evo leds guys, once I emailed them and they stated the bins they use, rating it as the highiest of cre xp-e.
But you are right, why don't they just tell us firsthand? We are also not educate enough for such specs... so lets always ask them!
They might start tellimng that more clearly!
Well done again mate.

they know the average joe is not gonna take the light apart and inspect each diodes ... on the other hand, unless the company just want to make a quick buck, I would say that if you go for a company that has been around a while, the last thing they want is bad reputation, I doubt that they would do 100 good lights and the rest crap...
