Where to buy autoflowers in Cali?

I wanted to get into growing for me and my uncle, and saw auto flowers are the easiest for beginners. I was looking through leafly menus and whatnot trying to find a place that sells them and I couldn't find any that were actually affordable. I go to menus on Leafly and clones are $15 and seeds are $50 for 12 seeds. I search google for autos in California and I get websites selling them for like $100 and not saying how many seeds there are.

So does anyone know a dispensary or anything where I can look at their selection of auto flower seeds or clones. Preferably in the Bay Area.

Also, is it safe/legal to buy seeds or clones online as long as you have a rec?

Any info you can give me would be helpful.

IMO the bast place to get autos is Spain. try sweet seeds ,fastbuds mephisto or Dutch passion..dinafem

I never have a issue with buying beans over seas.. just use a good source.. I think George from the vault is here on the RIU.. always use stealth..

I procure from seedbanks and I love what they are doing out in Cali, CO and the other legal states. But, the guys over seas have been doing this a long long time. Also, I love the autos. Mostly the short strains that mature fast and are potent. Having said that, if you don't have access to autos for whatever reason, a photo grown 12/12 from seed works very well also. As far as autos being easy? Hmmmm. Well, there are finicky autos out there as well as the easy ones. But, the advantage of autos is that you have less to worry about. Such as light leaks, light schedule etc. and if you pick the right auto, a good hardy easy to grow strain, indeed it really is easy. You can find hardy photos as well.

As far as expensive goes. Well, it seems that way just considering the price. I mean $10 for a seed? Sounds like a lot. But, what you are buying is the tech and development. A better chance of having a successful grow. The breeders have to breed these things over and over again to isolate these traits that make them mold and pest resistant, as well as other traits that make them hardy and able to adapt to less than perfect conditions. What you are really paying for is a fem seed, a hardy strain, auto traits and potency. Compared to say bag seed, your basically upping the chances that your grow will be successful.

Also do the math. If you pay $10 for a seed and only get two oz from it. The cost of that seed breaks down to about $.16-.17 per gram. That's peanuts.

Anyway, good luck bro whatever you decide. And if you just wanna procure locally consider a hardy photo on 12/12 from seed.

Alright. Good stuff from both of you, thanks!
Any specific auto's you'd recommend for ease of growing? Preferably something that has high THC and Indica dominant because I mostly use it to help with my insomnia, so the stronger the knockout power the better.
