I have about a qp of decent dwc grown Blueberry. I'm looking to get a fair wholesale price and establish a working relationship if possible. I have a good day job, so I'm not too worried. Anyone know if any local dispensaries are in need?

you should be able to get $200 or maybe even $225 an Oz. They won't pay more because they gotta make something off it. Overhead.

And after 1284 goes into effect the price they will be willing to pay will drop significantly and they will only be able to buy 30% of their meds out-of-house.

They can only buy from other dispensaries when 1284 goes into effect.

How does that make sense? a dispensary down the line is going to have to grow all the weed to be sold to another dispensary?
It doesnt make sense but thats the way it is. The big dispensaries hired lobbyists and they pushed for this law which gives them a monopoly. Boycott Peace In Medicine as Josh Stanley was behind all this.

no that is they will be able to buy 30% from other dispensaries and not off the street. which means no one is selling anything to the dispensaries unless it is another brick and mortar dispensary

This was a rant I had before I got put off the other board. (hahah) BOYCOTT CMMR, MATT BROWN, JOSH STANELY, PIM, 8 RIVERS CAFE, and ANYONE who supports these people!!! They are why we are in the shape we are right now. These, so called, lobbiests; arn't. They are morons who wanted a get rich quick scheme and to limit the compatition. Well Matt and Josh? Hows that workin' out for ya now? LOL

I was at Alameda Wellness' party back last week. I couldn't believe they let Matt set up a booth, take donations, AND have a raffle. Oi Vey!? The owner, by admission, "knows there was money that come up missing" but feels its ok to look the other way in spite of the fact that MATT BROWN and JOSH STANELY have set us and our cause back years and years and years!

I, personally, would have spent a lot of money at AW's party had it not been for their support of CMMR. I needed more meds and 2 plants. I ended up getting my plants at Releaf in Highlands and my meds from Elevated Medical. That was, easyly, $100 AW didn't make off me. That doesn't even include repeat business of a 1/8 wk. Its too bad really cause AW's owner seemed like a real nice guy.

Im under the impression that when 1284 kicks in us grower/caregivers can file for an Opional premises Cultivation Operation licence which allows us to be the 30% for the MMD's.

You have to own a dispensary to to get the optional cultivation license.

They can only buy from other "centers" and as I understand it, they will be allowed to grow more than they need or have patients for. So they get to grow as much as they want it would appear while we get to grow only 3 plants for ourselves.

The guidelines state 6 plants , 3 mature, 3 immature - for a MMJ grower who grows for there self. Jason Lauve already won in court and had his herb returned to him , he was arrested for growing over 17 times the limit. The jury stated he could've had a ton and they still would've found him NOT GUILTY. 6 plants isn't enough for me and with my medical history and documents, XRAYS, CAT SCAN, M.R.I. , and doctors letters and having over 60 empty bottles with Methadone on them dating back to 2002 , I'll take my chances growing a bit more than the limit, if I can't find a doctor to renew my recommendation this Fall over the recent MMJ bill, I still won't stop growing. I'm not going to say I'm more worthy to grow than someone else, but I've got a huge stack of medical records going back 8+ years that would draw sympathy from 99% of any Colorado jury panel.I moved 1500 miles from a non-MMJ state to Colorado to be legal and they can pass any strict bill they want, I'm not going back to suffering, I will never stop growing.

Ok, someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't recall any law or rule saying that the dispensary has to grow all their meds on the dispensary premisis, or even in a single location. I know that the dispensary I prefer going to grows all of it's own meds because it's basically a co-op where 5 growers got together and opened their own dispensary, and they don't seem to think they will have any problem operating under the new rules. They think the new rules are stupid, but say they really won't effect their ability to operate because they already grow all of their own meds. Seem's to me that all the dispensaries that aren't growing their own need to do is take on some growers as partners in the business and the problem is solved.

The law says the MMD must produce 70% of their product themselves. Weather it is grown at the properly zoned and conforming MMD or properly zoned and conforming Optional Cultivation premises.

The law says that a dispensary is the one that has the optional location cultivation permit. Caregivers or other random growers can not just pick up a permit. The grow is technically owned by the dispensary and the grower is contracted as an employee.

The law also states that dispensaries can only buy the additional 30% from another licensed dispensary.

Read the law carefully, consult an attorney, or end up in jail.
