i think what SOCOMMJ is saying, is that spreading half truths is just as bad as spreading lies and unfounded rumors or just plain bad info! and the view they posted on the law was more accurate and a better picture of what the law is saying then what you offered!

This is the first one:
Im under the impression that when 1284 kicks in us grower/caregivers can file for an Opional premises Cultivation Operation licence which allows us to be the 30% for the MMD's
Caregivers can not supply the other 30%. Only a licensed MMC can purchase an Optional Premise Cultivation License [OPCL]. So, if you pay the $7,500 to $18,000 for an MMC license, then you can pay another $1,500 for an OPCL that allows you to actually grow plants.

This one was lacking the important point that is indicated above... you can't get an OPCL unless you first buy a MMC license.

The law says the MMD must produce 70% of their product themselves. Weather it is grown at the properly zoned and conforming MMD or properly zoned and conforming Optional Cultivation premises.

It sucks that caregivers can not:
1]Service more than 5 patients
2]Charge more than the actual cost of growing
3]Sell off overgrow to dispensaries.

The only legal profit a caregiver can make is by charging for "Caregiving Services" whatever that is.

Not trying to bust on you but we all need to be very very clear on what is legal and what is not. Nobody needs to go to jail over growing Cannabis.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that LEO will be hot on the case.

Note that any information you glean from an internet site is not considered legal advise. You have to pay a lawyer [a lot!] to get that.

Peace...

You do notice in the second phrase that is more of a question and an uncertainty than me stating a fact, like the third phrase.
