At first, thanks a lot for every useful response I will get here (if any :)
I did my research about both LED lights. I read tons of it here on forum too, yet I don't know how to decide. I'm not a newbie grower, but I'm pretty much new into the LED lights. I was using MH and HPS... obviously. Only problem with this set up is heat...obviously :) So I decided to buy one of these lights KIND K5 XL 750 or MarsHydro II 1600. I need one light for both veg and flowering. I'm growing in soil, tent 120 x 120 x 200 cm with 9 plants inside. I read that the KIND lights are one of the best, but the price is, I would say funny. It's too expensive but overall testing of this light showed very quality spectrum of the light or at least I read that. On the other side the MarsHydro II 1600 is way cheaper and it offers quite the same specs like the KIND light, but it's made in China and I read the Kind xl750 offer better yield and the quality of light than MarsHydro 1600. The other difference I read is something inside the KIND is using drivers instead of resistors found in MaxHydro, which supposed to mean better lifespan. It must be few of you here, who actually used these lights or using it right now. I'm going to buy it this week, so your opinion is very valuable for me. I've seen every youtube video out there so please don't copy the same links here. Is MarsHydro a good LED light for cannabis or should I hit the KIND ?

And also please, respond only if you have some experience with one of these LED lights, so I'm sure you know watcha talking about. Many thanks my friends, very very appreciated.

Thanks guys. I know ....the research.... But it's always somebody saying this one is good, on other website they saying it isn't good but this other one is better. Or just reading content for hours without any answer. I spent 9 hours just for today, reading everything everywhere about it. That's why I'm asking here, some of you veterans in growing who have the real life experience growing under LED. Simply which LED light is working and doing it's job well. The one with full spectrum for both periods with good results in practical cannabis growing. What size and what brand ? All I need.

Heres my take- cobs. Two companies I would suggest, go green and johnson

http://www.gogreenleds.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html

http://johnsongrowlights.com/index.php?

otherwise consider

https://platinumgrowlights.com/products

I have a go green and platinum and am happy with both.

If you must go Kind or Mars, go Kind for sure. They seem a bit overpriced. Even if you start off smaller, you can always pick up a second led, or supplement with cfl or tubes, ect.

Also, 3x3 9 plants will be packed. Id run 4 plants.

I meant 6 plants sorry my bad, wrong num key.
Thank you my friend I had a look and I discovered that I'm lost more than before and whole LED world is more difficult than I thought. I'm from UK and those LEDs you recommended are not in sale here only advanced platinum LEDs. I wish I could use hps instead, but I can't. These LEDs are too difficult and too many different types, Cree CXB3070 I never heard of that LED but all users here talking about it, how to make it and so on, I'm just new into it uninformed and have to decide until sunday, I don't want to buy a crap.
How is your experience with Platinum LED? Which one did you use and what size of grow room did you have? How the buds looked like and exactly what Platinum LED do you recommend for 6 plants and 3x3 ??
I'm sorry for too many questions, just wanna buy the right LED. Many thanks

I've got a K3 L600 and it's decent. IT does it's job growing plants. I also have 3 TimberLED CXB200s which I like. I'll probably pick up a couple Tasty T4-1750s soon. At that point, the Kind will be retired. So, either a bunch of TimberLEDs or a some Tastys.

idk much about the budmaster. For that much money I would go with Kind. Did you check with those other companies about shipping to you? I think they would... unless your talking buy in store. Its nice to have a different place from where your growing to order stuff like that.

Im very happy with the platinum. I have the p450. After that the sizes get kind of weird shape wise. The p600 might work for you, depending how close exactly your space is to 3 feet (1meter). That light is 3ft long itself.

The kind k3 l600 would work too, but so spendy!

Either of those (kind l600 or platinum p600) are slightly underpowered for a 3x3. But they would work.

My overall suggestion- get the p450. They claim it covers 3x2, which is overstated. Id look into some supplemental lighting, cfls, t5's, one big cfl, ect.

LED is a bunch of claims and myths. It is NOT ready for prime time.IF/WHEN a unit comes out that does what you're asking, EVERYONE will know about it.
Proven to work grow lights like a LEC,or DE unit are the talk of the town with real world results. The ONLY people who talk bad about them are the DIY L.E.D guys who have spent TONS of money building their lights. That is as honest answer as you will get. NOT one sided, just REAL WORLD.

have you grown with them? I have and they work. The companies do overstate alot of things, and make ridiculous claims, but that doesnt mean they dont work for growing.DSCN3247.JPG

here is another example, In off roading, LED was thought it would also replace HIDs, BUT they found you could out Drive the LED's.
meaning, the faster they went, the shorter the distance the led lite up. They are great for slow rides and are real bright up close, but in the REAL WORLD, Hids are still better.

Thanks bro, I'm about to buy the kind LED, I have time to decide until sunday, so I will see. At least I'm happy I didn't ordered the MarsHydro, I was so close to do it. For the money it sounds good, but the performance is cheap too. When you grew under the K3 L600, how to buds looked like, I mean were they decent size and thick or how would you compare it to 600watt hps. Cheers fam

You'll get more light, more intensity, and more coverage for the same price with two of these : http://www.tastyled.com/product-p/t4-1750.htm

That is what I would recommend over the Kind. Plus, the guy who makes them is on the forum and can provide support.

Thanks buddy. I thought that the L600 will be little underpowered so that's why I want hit the k5 xl750.
The platinum LEDs look very good too, but they don't make a good size LED for 1x1 square meters, they making rectangle panel shape which is not so ideal into my growing tent. Looking more for square shape of the panel, so Kind K5 xl750 is for now my choice.
Those cfls, t5's how they doing with the heat? Thanks bro

Thanks for sharing. So if the era of LEDs isn't here just now, what kind of light would you recommend for growing indoors in tent 1x1x2 but the heat must stay in normal levels so I don't need to use extra fan to cool that light down. Thanks bro

Sorry I forgot to mention that I need Full spectrum light which I can use in veg and flower too, I mean one light for both periods. These ones T4-1750 lamp from Tasty LED look good because I heard the CXB3590 CD diods are the best you can buy at the moment, but can I use that light for veg too? thank you
