Which method is best?

So I want to try and get a couple different types of seeds next year and was wondering which method would be the best. Here's what I got. I have a sativa that packs a good punch and I call it Papa Stan. And I also have some Purple sativa seeds that I got from a buddy. Since I only have about 4 seeds of each I want to pollinate next year to get a lot more of each. If I get a female and male of each plant I will take some pollen from the male Papa Stan and pollinate a couple buds on the female Papa Stan. My questions is, would it be better to take the pollen from the male Papa Stan and pollinate the female Purple Sativa, of would it be better to take some pollen from a male Purple Sativa and pollinate the female Papa Stan?

Low Stress Training because they are Sativa's - you do know that they will be tall -size of grow room (height) ? and the plant will need 2.5 feed for proper grows but that can be reduced if so it will influence your yields - six of pot's" ?

What about selfing? You can self pollinate just one branch of a plant and get seeds to grow copies :)

If it were me, I'd cross a branch on each lady and do another branch regular, papa-papa, purple-purple. That way you get seeds from a cross and seeds from the strains to keep growing and crossing. You can pollinate single branches, they're a few vids on YouTube showing ways to do it.

It all depends on what you want to do. If you just want to make a bunch of seeds in one run then do your best to do selective pollinating on separate branches. But depending upon your experience level don't be surprised if what you thought you did, isn't what you got, pollen is a wild critter.

If you want to do it right you'll have to grow out the males (if more than one) to see their traits and do the same with the girls so within a few rounds with clones of the original plants you can get the best of what your seed resource is,,,, this will take at least the better part of a yr.

I should have answered your original question. And this is just my observations. An amazing male will help any female, where an amazing female doesn't enhance every dude.
