I'm debating on which size grow bag to use. I have a choice between 1 gallon, 3 gallon, and 5 gallon. Now for those that say use the 5 gallon my only problem is the size of the container. I have to do some "splinter cell" stuff to get them outside. I'm figuring I could get around 10 out at a time with 1 gallon and reduce that by 50% with each increment in increased size of the container. The soil in the area that I'm going to isn't bad, but not as good as bag soil either. I want to take about 30 plants out there of big bud X NL. If anyone thinks it would be better to maybe put 15 out with a larger container I've considered that 2 but haven't decided. Any input would be appreciated.

a good way to go all "splinter cell" is to keep them in the smallest container possible, preferable square ones(they pack better) and squeez them into cardboard boxes, and put in your pack, then when you get to the plot, put out your empty bags and start mixing substrate, lol when im doing my work i like to think of myself as a guerilla warrior, lone soldier defending the country aganced the evil czars and their war on drugs.lol also 5 gallon would be ideal, but 3 gallon will grow almost as big a plant and is much easier to move if needed.

i'm assuming cannabis is illegal where you are growing........you'll leave fingerprints (and d.n.a.) all over those bags. save your money and put them in the ground..........BUT, if you're going to use them anyway, i suggest the 5 gallon.

plant in the ground man, you dont have top wory about your plants out growing a 5 gallon grow bag. unlikely i no but if they can grow 10' tall the roots must get big.

They are plastic bags. You just dig and a hole, slice open the bottom of the bag and plant. I can carry about 10, 1 gallon bags in my outdoor backpack. Beaner I even got the flip down night vision goggles...bad ass.

Most people are saying plant in the ground...and the more and more I think about it they are probably right. If I dig out holes pretty deep...bout 2 foot, then dig it about a foot and 1/2 wide. Use a tarp and mix the soil with blood meal and peat moss. Fill the bottom portion of the hole with a potassium phosphorus additive, then backfill the soil and plant. Save me on chugging pots out there, I would just carry nutes and ferts. I could plant millions!, well maybe not millions but alot.
