Which Temp and humidity monitor do you use?

I use these, up to 5 sensors can be hooked up to one hub. They also have different specialty probes that can attach like I have one of their wet probes. You can monitor anytime with an app/browser and/or download 2 weeks worth of data at a time. Set the intervals for the units to send data, get alerts etc. I've had a couple for 4 years, very reliable. You buy the linked kit once, then add monitoring units for $36/ea.

I use an AcuRite model 00613, $10 or less on Amazon. Monitors temp/humidity, and registers highs/lows for both. I stuck it to an inside wall of my tent, and I'm happy with it. Nothing fancy, but it works.

A temp/hum gauge is different than a data logger. I have become a fan because it alerts me when conditions get out of wack. Getting real data about your grow in easy to read graphs. Is more useful than most of the reading you can do on these forums.

The pawnshop around here always has a base station with a remote sensor. They currently have a Oregon Scientific with six remote sensors. I have one with one remote for the outside of the house. I also have a AccuRite monitoring the room the tent is in and currently use another brand with three remotes inside the tent. With that one, the remotes have a tiny screen showing the temp and humidity. The AccuRite remote doesn't.

Oh and a LaCrosse Technology monitoring the back yard. Using four brands. I can say they're always as close as 1 degree temperature and 1-3 points on humidity.

I like them for the data and alerts, once you know what normal is, a fan or the like dies (or you do some dumb-ass thing like unplug it and leave it off - lol) and you can see there's something going on easily. I find them really useful for dialling in rooms/tents. I have multiple tents, cabinets and a main flower room and move things around to use what space I have available at the time. It's easy to make adjustments and see the results.

@ GroErr they really are helpful and make you grow a better garden than you could without. There is also a chill factor included. I am at a movie or club. I check and see everything is "normal". Peace of mind is worth a lot.

Being the reasonable, mature person I like to think I am, I looked at the temp/hum monitor system on the Lacrosse website, and NOW I'm interested. I like the features, and REALLY like the price. I checked out the Sensorpush, too. I think I may reconsider such a device.
