Which tent?

I just got done setting up a Idaodan brand tent. 24"x48"x71". The only reason I bought the brand was the size. 3'x3' would have been funky shaped in the room. Nobody else had the size. Most close to it was 60" tall. Needed more roof then that.

24"x48" hugs the wall.

I've been looking at the Too Long 6 by Lightheart Gear. Two pounds ain't bad for a two person tent, but 300 bucks is kind of steep.

Wait. You guys were not talking about hiking?

I have a secret jardin and like it. great zipper. It has plastic connectors and I just don't think they'll last. I guess tents are supposed to be a short term disposable thing but I dont want to throw money away.

secret jardin is a great tent brand, they do alot that other tent makers just dont, i love their micro tents for seedlings and early veg. I dont think any tent is "supposed" to be short term or disposable, it really comes down to how you use and maintain it, another thing to remember is any brand of tent can rip or tear, ive torn many holes in tents before, most tears can be patched. If you do feel like you will be replacing your tent "regularly" then just go with a cheaper tent i guess.. ive only ever had to throw away one tent and that was because it got torn from the top all the way to the bottom- was not a repairable tear :/

Been waiting and waiting to complete a building project to start a grow room ... that's not happening. However, I have claimed a space for a tent. I am looking at the Apollo Horticulture or the VivoSun 48" or 36" tents. Anyone have any experience with the Apollo or VivoSun tents and could give advice?

Thanks!!
