white hairs after topping?!?

hey guys i toped 1 of my plants the other day and after 2-3 days noticed white hairs growing where i topped.cnt post any pics atm due to me having to move my plants to my father's because my brother-inlaw is a jelous prick.anywayz back to the point lol.im happy in a way coz its a female but also scared it could go hermie.any info on how and why this has happened would be greatly apreciated.btw im and 0z outdoor grower.has this happened to any of use?

how old was the plant that got topped could just be showing pre flowers from age not from the topping . topping does stress the plant but never had one herm from it

I take it that you have topped the plant has normal during the 1st or 2nd week.Has long has there are no temp flux the plant should be fine.This is a good sign that there are white hairs it shows that the plant is a true girl.
