Hey guys im 2 months into veg
Soil- fox farm and kind soil (no nutes)
Water- regular tap water and sometimes i mist the plant
Lights - 5 100 w equivalent cfls 18/6
Humidity - ranges from 40-60
Temp - 74

I cut the leaves but i was just wondering what you guys think it could be?
I sometimes mist the plant with plain water so i was thinking it could be light burn but im wondering if it could be anything else.

I don't want to scare you at all cuz it might not be but, Check real close to the bottom and close to the stem for mites, or it just could be spots if you don't have a fan moving your leaves around heat spots could be there. Just check real close under your leafs and next to the branches really close and see, if no mites great, then if that is the case get a fan to move your ladies around so the hot spots don't show up anymore.

good luck

I really dont see signs of mites and the leaves that have the spots are the ones that are closest to the lights. The spot are like a cream color and range in size. Im thinking it could be fungus but im not sure. Thank you though

Don't mist the plants unless you want fungus or burn spots. Even when one leaf is laying over the top of another without moving around the lower leaf can get brown spots or even a band of brown across it from the "sweat" that gets trapped between the two.

There is no good reason to spray your plants other than to fight bugs or feed it when root problems cut off food and water from the plants.

Sounds to me like you have burn spots from water droplets under the lights. Or spots from the water sitting too long. If needed, spraying should be done just after light's out so everything is dry when they come on. And only good RO or distilled water should be used so the minerals in tap water don't get left behind on the leaves which will cause white spots often in a circle.

:peace:

Look up pictures of powdery mildew that is what it sounds like to me, and if your misting your plants and the humidity is in the 60% range could be what it is, may also just be hard water spots also if your using tap water in your mister. Goggle white powdery mildew and check the pics and compare them to yours, if that is what it is then mix up some h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide 3%) in that mist bottle 1 tsp or cap full to the rest water assuming its at least 32oz mist bottle then spray all the afffected areas daily for a week or so hopefully it will get it gone. worked for me. and when you harvest your bud to be on the safe side do and h202 bath after prunning and trimming can youtube videos on that its the bomb cleans those fresh nugs up like a shinny new penny.

Thank you all for the awesome advice, i dont think it's mites or powdery mildew, the spots dont look powdery they're more like stains and kept getting lighter. I've stopped misting the plant and i havent seen any new spots so thats good. I keep trying to upload pics but the site says there's a problem uploading so sorry abt that. I was also wondering is it bad to use tap water to water the plants? I usually let the water sit for a day to dechlorinate it.
