" but provincially in Ontario we've had some of the worst parties/leaders ever #$%!"

con/lib both are terrible..if wynne can get hydro one to lower rates even 25% she is a hero..a true hero

if not she is like the long line of failures to us

hydro cost is the number one problem in ontario

the closest to us is alberta 2nd highest..which is[get this] still 57 % of our cost per kwh

every other "leader" caved

I hear you on the hydro costs but Wynne will never be considered a hero in my books, it may fix some of the stupid things she's done (or not done) for some but she's an incompetent, flip-flop beatch in my books no matter what she does until she gets tossed in next election.

mmm then you get a con..and you know how they roll[over you]
Well let's see what happens, I cannot see Wynne being left as leader of the Libs after this term. I'd like to see the NDP given a shot. Then again, they're all losers, it's always picking the best option from a bunch of incompetent career politicians looking after their own interests, sad.

My power bill works out to 23.5¢/kwh and a friend on a different plan is paying almost 30. No smart meters and no plans to put them in here in AB so better off than some in that respect. Almost $90/mth to run my 1000W 12hrs/day. At least 75% of my growing costs are for power. :(

23.5 /kwh? WTF is wrong with dat picture?
a meter wont help you..not unless you use your lights at off perk hours..in other words..at night only...not during the day.

I was growing a few p's a month on two....but was paying 8 cents / kwh. worked out to around 100 a month...hell Id think about a diesel generator lol

How will they catch people. Always don't ask Don't tell mentality...
Shit happens. House fire, flood etc that can get the most paranoid of us busted for no fault of our own. I've been growing in this house for 14 years and can count on one hand the friends that know about it and they are all smokers and med patients so it's not like I'm flapping my gums. :)

No peak hour BS here. My dumb meter just spins away and gives them my total usage for the month My actual electricity cost is around 10¢ but all the other charges more than double that cost. There is no difference in cost whether day or night use for us.

I'm gonna be selfish here but keep it illegal. There's going to be some serious mortgage and small town financial issues next year. Smaller growers that work but use grow money to be able to afford better living are stressing atm as weed is not moving.
