Harvard has done a study among other scientists and the only thing close is short term psychosis. And only a exception for those with a genetic predisposition as stated above it is actually fact that mj and schizophrenia are not linked at all

Yes but those short term things can really amplify those with slight problems and cause a future one in the susceptable. It is for this reason that it is acknowledged and treated in my country. Can any of us say that we are free and always will be free of mental disease enough to say it wont affect us...

May i just add that we didnt use studies to come to this conclusion just a lot of kids that were suffering badly from long term high grade marijuana abuse.

For sure you just have to look at the world we live in now and it's no surprise kids are using allot harder than older generations and I have no doubt it's bad for a growing brain. And on your statement above about mental illness your spot on it can hit any of us at anytime

The problem with that is they don't know if the kids were fucked up to start with. I have used high grade pot everyday for decades with no problems......DON'T LOOK AT ME I'LL RIP....sorry......

I do recall a documentary where some heavy rasta smokers did get admitted for mental issues but they could have had mental issues regardless. If it was down to the marijuana, they were smoking way more than what a westerner considers ''heavy''. Many of the other rastas appeared perfectly normal and notably more happy in themselves than the avg westerner.

Testing somebody in the uk/usa is almost pointless, they got many other inputs that could be creating the problem. Kids have more and more pressure on them these days to do well in school/socially and it's a lot of mental strain, stress and even depression. Adults have debt, insecure jobs and various changes of life to deal with. Stress, depression or prescription drugs can singularly put you on the path to mental health issues. I have no doubt poor diet/food quality contributes to a lesser well being. Western shelves are rammed with cheap sugary and fatty foods. It is very difficult to eat healthy in such a country even if you know how to.

It's fucking hilarious yet scary the amount of shit people will willingly ram down the hatch every day just because it is legally prescribed. So many side effects and likely many unknown/played down ones.

-Growers and dealers are putting either methamps or ketamine in weed to make it more addicitive and potent.
Sure thing.
-A plants male or hermies will make all the other plants male too(not seeds but plants).

I love the first one. Because all drug dealers can afford to spike something with yet more drugs to somehow clip onto a new client. It's one of them things old people say to make weed sound bad when they don't have an argument against weed itself

The UK is stuck in the 90's early 00's. I'd say the massive E/Rave culture you have is much more of a contributing factor to the deterioration of kids mental health than Cannabis. Lets be honest, the UK has never been known for amazing Cannabis. The cheese is the only famous strain I know of(there's prolly a couple more) to come out of the UK and by most accounts its skunk, or a skunk x and it isn't that good by North American standards of Cannabis, it's just nothing special. I have a hard time believing kids are flipping their lids off Cheese and Autoflowers.

Thanks for the insight, Mr Head.
I always assumed that since so many seedbanks are located in GB and with their close proximity to Holland, that they must have some killer weed, everywhere!

I don't want to sound like I'm discounting all the UK guys, breeders boutique boys do good work and Im sure there's more of em.

It's the large scale producers that are growing mids (of course). It's still a very illegal atmosphere over there, so naturally their weed will suffer because of that

The UK definitely leads the way in Party Drugs testing scene , the test kits coming out of the UK are really interesting. They want kids to be taking the drugs they are paying for and not something else, that's deserving of applause IMO.

It's just funny they are blaming weed for psychosis when they are most likely the leaders per capita. of party drug consumption. Holland supplies more chem's than weed to the UK if I am not mistaken, most their hash still comes from the OG hash maker countries. Not saying those guys are bad at making hash... I am sayin the UK guys aren't making their own hash on a large scale AFAIK.

I'm hardly an expert on the UK's weed scene :) I just go by what I read in the news :) :) So take what I say with a slab of salt.

Most Cannabis you buy on the streets in UK is produced by organized crime using cannabis slaves locked in apartments and underground bunkers.
