Why all the hate for sensi seeds early skunk!?

I've been growing an early skunk since May in one of the very southern most tips of the U.K. I started with three fem early skunk and two incredible bulk cuttings but they were getting big so I gave 4 away to a friend who owns a farm to plant out... Anyway I kept one early skunk, a sickly one that had been dropped, broke in half , rerooted, then slug attacked and ate over half the stem! Each time I saved and nurtured it back to health and ... Well now as we approach October it is nearly 6 foot in an airpot in budget multipurpose compost, in bud and it's looking pretty good. I forgot to say it only receives about 5 hours of direct sun a day!

This is a hardy easy grow strain... What's not to like?

Surely proof is in the product?... Its seems to be all it claims to be in the description, otherwise please enlighten me as to the best or most reputable outdoor strain and or breeders. I really want to know

I'm about 3-4 weeks in flower so I'll give a smoke - yield report when all is done and dusted

don't go with sensi,i sadly did this spring got his maple leaf no germination out of ten, got his EARLY GIRL what ajokesept 16 just starting to bud now haha fukg garbage also bought his gusto way later than stated I might get bud off from some heres a pick of sensiEARLY GIRL sept 16 what a rip off pure mexi sativa I have been waiting to unload on this ass all summer

Fair enough if they've been shit for you but maybe I've been lucky. Fingers crossed I'll harvest something nice

My early skunk has been in flower since since last week of August I rekon, not 100% but definitely set in now as you can see from my second picture

Lol... got to love the irony of the ignorant. Sensi is by far the most ripped off seedbank over the past 30+ years, by people chucking sensi strains and naming and selling them untested.

I ran the same strains8-9 yrs ago all were fine?iam done with uk banksits only getting worse

Same story many people had over the years, most common comment from sensi-deniers lol "Strain X is no longer the original, doesn't look like the one in 199x"

Pre Sam the Skunkman most of the bud in Amsterdam was just grass. Neville started crossing nl and others with afghani/skunk/early girl and others. Sold through the seedshop from sensi, who sold pretty much the same crosses. Like most others. All chucks from the most obvious. Nl haze, skunk nl, afghan kush, afghan skunk, etc etc. Sensi bought out nevil a few years later, and since every chuck of the obvious options had been done, it was time to create three way crosses. Nl skunk haze (like jack herer and ssh) being two of the most succesful. The majorlty of varieties today are still based on the same. At mr nice they are still stuck in that same routine.

Early girl arrived in NL through Sam too, Nevil got some eventually and just as what many others did it was crossed with the best at the time, skunk. None of those originals are IBLs, they are not uniform. None of those seeds are actually 30 years old, and the parents used for the first ones are long gone too. It was never possible to get the same plant you got X years ago. They were never such stable strains", nor were their parents.



I agree with the germination results though... horrible, especially for the price.

This is from last years grow northern lights auto from sensi seeds budget white label line. It was a great smoke, strong stone and pleasant taste nothing mental but alright for £20 ,. That's why I stuck with sensi this year.

Small pots barely any nutes just rainwater and organic black strap molasses on flower stage, got a half oz. Of each of my 3 plants.

I picked up some SH #9 from Sensi a couple months ago -- all retards. Almost as bad as my Ken's GDP debacle. Both now reside comfortably on my shit list.

I had that with the amnesia white, of the ones that popped most were runts from the start, barely looked like cannabis.

SH#9 is the fem version isn't it? I was quite happy with the regular silver haze, except for germination results, 7 out of 10.

They got copied a lot because they intially had the best stock especially after buying out nevil's, never because of their breeding skills. Regardless, with the prices they charge they should at the very least germinate and produce normal plants.

I had poor germ rates with afghani #1 and early pearl never again

Ya, I agree. They were fems and are supposedly a more hazy version of regular silver haze. Just like the GDP though, the quality of flower seems to be there, it's just the funky non-productive growth patterns that make it off-putting.

Apologies but getting a little of topic, I originally wondered why people aren't rating early skunk as mine are looking shit hot .. As for germination rate all my seeds worked and same last year with the auto northern lights. If anyone has got previous experience with early skunk please get involved .. I'll post my plants progress to show how my early skunk is progressing
