i was at a mates house to see his auto russian#2,why would it not have grown in bud size for a week or more. he has it in a small pot to keep it small it is the size he wants but since the bud has started it seems to have slowed down ALOT.if any one has any ideas please help as he has no internet just now. it is in a 60x60cm cuboard under 1 x 105w red cfl ,1 45wcfl blue, and a small 15w led one of those cheap panels, it gets hot but never more than 30 degrees c ,75-80f i think. it has also started to turn the fans yellow i know this should be happining tho. it has been on green fuse root grow and bloom nutes and ionic pk 14 15 boost once a week in bloom. i think it is about 3 4 weeks into flower?? tho that is just a guess, hes not great with dates,,lol any help appreciated thanks all

not very much happens in the first few weeks of flowering you'll notice a big difference in the next few weeks, also plants flower slower under cfls compared to HIDs.

sounds like he over ferting it. Autos grow in vegetative growth phase for the first 3-4 weeks. They do not need flowering nutes during this time and if hes been feeding al thsoe bloom nutes he prob has a salt build up and nute lockout which accounts for the yellowing leaves. Leaves should not be yellowing until the flowers are nearing ripening (around week 10 FROM SEED i.e. week 7 OF FLOWERING with autos approx, or even more for a sativa variety)

If he thinks what ive said sounds right, id suggest he flushes the soil with room temp and pH adjusted water, about 6 times. Then feed 1/4 strength VEG and BLOOM butes but nothing too strong like the bloom enhancers yet. Autos will grow all through the life stages so nitrogen is essential, but obviously in less quantity in the bloom stage as to the veg stage. Go very easy on bloom nutes until flowering is in full swing. You cant force an auto to get big by feeding it the nutes, if its not developed enough to use al the nutes u put in then it wont use them, and they build up in the soil and cause nute lock out. So the auto prob cant take in any more nitrogen and therefore the leaves are yellowing.

I hope this helps! Tell him good luck :leaf:
