The MMJ card was in my wallet for 30 days and most of the ink has rubbed off! On the letter that came with my card it says in bold print that i cannot laminate it, why is this? is the ink on everyone else's cheap and crappy and rubbin off too?

TIA!

Why can't we use black ink on the forms ?

Why can't the fucking Department of health enter 10 fields into a database and ship a card in less than 8 months when they get paid $90 to do it ?

Why do they reject application for ridiculous reasons ?

Why does that stupid card cost $90 ?

Government hates the patients, that's why.

just buy a cheap wallet that has those plastic accordion credit card holder things, snip it apart and voila, protects mine well

Why didn't you even attempt to answer his question but instead made a ignorant mockery of it?

The main reason is so the fraud security features on the card's arent tampered with such as the hologram feature you see.

I didn't attempt to answer because the rule is a mockery. It's just as retarded as most of the other rules that the state creates.

I don't know where you got your card, but there is no hologram feature on the Colorado Red cards.

It's printed on a shitty piece of certificate paper designed not to fit safely in your wallet. It will self destruct when it contacts water.

It also says DO NOT DUPLICATE, but every reg maintains that you keep a copy. More super wisdom from our state.

But thanks for the scolding... I'm not married so I miss that.

I didn't laminate mine but instead put it in a sheet protector that I cut down to size. It's the next best thing I could think of since we can't laminate.

Anyone that thinks there are any 'security measures' printed on the Colorado MMJ cards doesn't know jack about security. That would inlclude the CDPHE first off and then all the ass-hat politicians in the state. The fact that you cannot laminate the card is for only one reason. They WANT it to wear down and not be usuable for more than a year. There is NO photo ID on the card so it's not like you are going to cut and paste someone elses photo onto it and then laminate it in (like fake ID's do). The cards are actually printed on a big laser printer and the toner lifts off easily if you keep them in your wallet.
The state, law enforcement and political branches simply do NOT support the patients, period. Next time vote for some REAL candidates. The more I see of any government the less I like.

i was told by several people that we are not to carry redcard on us because of that reason(ink rubbing off). I was told to make copy(even though it says not to) and carry that. I only bring out redcard when delivering amounts to patients as well as patients files. If they bust you with enough to fuck with you(over couple oz's) redcard vs. copy of redcard wont matter too much at the moment IMO.

Random thought. What are the laws on Producing the card, is it like with driving in that you have X days after a stop to produce your Li ensemble and then your screwed, as opposed to screwed because someone just nicked your wallet etc

If you are in possession of Medical Marijuana you have to be carrying your card. If not, then you get to go sort it out in court.
