Why did President Lincoln violate freedom of the press laws if he wanted to "free the slaves" ?

Yes, you do. That is why it is called "real" property (i.e. Real Estate) and is regulated and handled independently and completely differently than all other forms of merchandise.

Incorrect again. How else do you think real property is handed down from generation to generation? There are tracks of land and homes in this nation that have been owned by the same families for longer than the United States has existed.

You can call something anything you want to, that doesn't mean that's what it actually is.

Collateral damage = murder.

Tax (forcible confiscation) = theft.

I could go on.

Why is having two separate nations or three or more etc. instead of one gigantic empire a bad thing ?

Should people be held in a single political union by force ?
why would having a prolonged armed conflict be a bad thing? a prolonged armed conflict over slavery that could've gone on for 20-50 maybe 100 more years?? tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands more americans dead..... why would keeping the war going would've been a bad thing??????????? that's your question - seriously....

should people be held in a single political union by force? < What the hell does that even mean?? governments are granted their power by the people - it is a voluntary thing - when the people get tired of their government it gets overthrown. happens all the time... but what usually happens is the political institutions come out again... because humans need order. we need cooperation, and we need leaders in order to thrive...

you might not like it but humans are not solitary animals that can just do their own thing ... it's good if you want to just barely survive... but in order to thrive, in order for people like YOU to be able to sit at home and chat it up online - you need cooperation, you need help, and you need to make compromises.......compromises that sometimes we do not agree with but we make them anyways...

thing is conservatives do not deal with compromise - for them it is an abuse upon my rights, it is a step past an imaginary line in the sand, it is use of force and government over reach....

the way you are able to make a human construct, an idea in your own head that doesn't exist anywhere else but your imagination, you make that more important than the tangible results achieved by societal living. especially in the 'West' where people really do live well compared to some of the poorer places in the world... to me, I just don't understand it... you choose to ignore some of the REAL benefits to go on about platitudes involving freedom, force, conflict, and violence and it doesn't make sense.... it's all bullshit....

Well that was quite a rant. I'm happy to address your concerns one paragraph at a time.

1) No, your restatement of my question is NOT my question. I asked what is wrong with an Empire losing grasp of its subservient components.

2) If governments are granted their power over people on a voluntary basis , does that mean those people who haven't granted the government power over them are exempt and will be left alone?

3) Your third paragraph was vapid. Sorry to be so blunt.

4) Your 4th paragraph is a non sequitur. I am not, politically speaking, "a conservative". I am a Cannarchist of the Pot and Panarchist sect. (If you understood what I just said it's quite droll) Yes, I KNOW that doesn't fit the role you seem to be assigning me.

5) Can a person delegate a right they do not possess ? I'd really be interested in your concise and on point answer. Thanks in advance.

Although you do write quite well. your debate game sucks donkey dicks.
What black man is being force to serve a white man against his will. Let me know or STFU.
I'm considered black and no on is forcing me to serve anyone. Name me a black man who is being force to serve a white man

Nat Turner.

Oh yeh, don't pay your rent (taxes) and see how long you "own" your property. If the state really wants the property they'll take it thru the power of eminent domain, just as they have countless times in the past.

but yet you support a business open to the public to not serve blacks

Word play. If I knew that a person ran their business and didn't serve blacks or whites or Chinese etc. I would not give them MY business. That's the extent of my rights, doing more exceeds my rights.

Since I don't own the other person or their property, I'm wondering how you'd justify me forcing them to serve me, if they made it clear they'd prefer not to associate with me?

Doesn't everyone have the equal right to the use of their own property / body and to decide who they will or will not associate with on a mutual basis ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY ?

We get it, you don't think you should have to serve black people because you are racist.
