Why not round?

Thanks for the link. This is kind of a half way between my budget and my ideal, kind of like the Panda film. I'll either try and save up fifty bucks and try it with the flat white painted plastic or save up a buck fifty and try it with the orca grow film. Nice stuff though. Thanks again.

ive seen a kiddie pool with a 4' reflector over it with they used a movable reflective partition wall that made like a circle around it

also a 4' round room 8' high with 2 cool tubes vertically in the center and plants on the walls

also the LST or SCOG methods will yield a larger and controllable canopy from one plant, so you can make your plant fit under what ever reflector you choose

Would love to get some input here. I've bought materials and am ready to start construction of my frame.My seven buckets will be set up with one in the center as my feed bucket and the other six plant buckets arranged in a circle around it. This set up will measure three feet across the outside diameter of my buckets. Should I build the tent to place the wall as close as possible to the plants or would my end product be better served by giving the plants a little breathing room, and if so how much "breathing room"?

Hope some of you guys that showed interest before are still lurking. And,of course, I hope some of you are not. Chime in guys and gals.

I admit to only having read the first and last pages ... my impression is that tents are square/rectangular for ease of manufacture. I'll have to go back to see how you've tackled the problem.
My opinion in re tent size: Leave at least six inches free radius around your bucket array, for a four-foot diameter. This provides two bennies:
1) room for the bud to grow, and 2) room for you to service the array. Just my $.02 ... cn
