Wide range of humidity

I've seen as low as the 30's and 40's as of late when the weather has been warm and as high as 65 when the weather cooled down...roller coaster of humidity. Can't complain too much as it's borderline low and borderline high. Plants are early vegging at the moment, doing my best. I need to get a second hygrometer/ temp monitor to get a better idea and then adjust accordingly.

If you upload some pics and give us a description of your set up maybe we can help.

Where is your set up? Where does your air come from and where does it exhaust to?

5x9 tent in bedroom, hlg550s x2. Air comes in passively. still experimenting with opening more vents. closed 3 out of 4 for now to promote more humidity ( since in the 40s lately). HVAC cools when needed. Exhaust through the attic/ 8 inch fan insulated ducting to carbon filter and out of the attic near attic vent. Humidity is relatively stable when it decides where to stay. Fluctuates seemingly according to outside temperature which has been up and down as of late. My hygrometer is on the economical end, and it would probably make most sense for me to invest in a better one or just have two cheapos for confirmation. Right now it says 38% though it definitely doesn't feel like it. I'm going to run to home depot for a second hygrometer

you will continue to chase the temps and humidity that way. You need a humidifier and dehumidifier on a controller. Ink bird makes a cheap one on Amazon and that's what I use. I use a sonic humidifier that pumps directly into the tent. My dehuy is in the closet my tent is in and both are on that controller. Veg, Flower and drying/curing all benefit from this.

Yes I agree.. Sounds awesome.. As long as the humidifier or the dehuey aren't too huge and can be placed outside the tent I'm for it. Real estate in the tent is important and I like that the dehuey is placed outside the tent.

The only things inside my tent are my filter and fans, I also have a heat mat between the liner and floor for supplemental radiant heating on a controller also. I modified my humidifier with a 1/2 line so I can run it into my tent. I also moved my driver to the outside as it gets hot. I'm in a 2x2.5

Sounds great. I remember the link to the controller you posted and saved it to my list. Where did you purchase your sonic humidifier?
