Will this eBay rig pull 2 pounds a light if I am running 8 or these LEDs??

Meanwell is worth it. But I have used cheap chinese drivers.

Things to know:
Their rated ma/watts: lies.
Their rated efficiency: lies.
Their rated voltage: generally true.

They do work however. 1400 ma ended up being about 1200.. that kinda crap. Figure eff is mid- high 80%ish..

I run some vero 18 and 29 fixtures with em. 1 per chip.. 22-36v.. Running fine a couple years now.

You'll find meanwell costs about the same once you need to do 4+ chips.

Also, you'll get some badly made chinese led drivers if you buy enough. Some will be shorted. Some will have a pulled wire, non- exact sizing, mixed wire lengths.. lot of shoddiness.

In the end, the meanwells will be cheaper.. durability, eff., etc..

btw, if you run 8 of those lights in a 4x4 and maintain <86f, you'll pull .6 lbs max. with an 8week grow/8wflower schedule. -Because those LEDs suck. Replace em with a real 50w chip (citizen/luminus) and pull 1.2lbs. same regimen. (mean averages).

this would be a great thread to revisit in 2023 to see the success rate of the cheap drivers. At that time meanwells bought today will still be under factory warranty and would have given a 5-10+ % efficiency/yield bump to each of 20-30 harvests.
