This is the LED I'm going to use. It's pretty much mainly for flowering by the looks of things. The thing is I want to use it from start to finish without any other lights.....will it work? Or moreso will it work on lowryder 2?

I can't see any other grows using this light, or at least a 180 that isn't a UFO version.

Any help, answers, links and stuff would be appreciated greatly.

Side note: if using this won't be enough what else can I put in to help with veg/growth stages?

I dont have any pics to show you but I assure you, it will work. You can use it from start to finish, and if you are really worried about it, add a couple CFL on the side (6500 for veg, 2700 for flower)

Edit: How big is your grow space and how many plants do you plan to put under this light?

My space isnt that large due to it formerly being used to hang my clothes lol, but it looks big enough to grow six lowryders, or at least have a rolling method of planting and harvesting two at a time every three weeks. The light info when I got it said it would cover 3x2 foot, which is about the same size as my cupboard, so with the Mylar in place I can guess it will be big enough, just not sure if it's powerful enough for every stage from seed to harvest.

I think the real troubles for me are that I haven't grow for two years, and when I did it was a simple setup with big hps lights, a huge room and 30 strong blueberry plants. Now I'm confined, trying rockwool methods with different lighting and watering, a new type of plants, not to mention being in a confined space.

Anyway they have all hit the surface and are looking ok. I'm not sure if having the light this close as young sprouts is ok, but I will see. At the moment it's about seven inches away on a 18 on 6 off schedule. No nutrients yet and lots of healthy clean water.

Am I doing anything wrong that you can point out or advise on?

^^^^Yeah I'm doing something completely out of my comfort box too, from cmh/with all the bells and whistles vs Sealed summer run/64w led!/cocco blend..scary
First off I think a BS180 will not effectively cover a 3x2 IMO, you will need another panel or cfls...........but can you handle the extra heat??? need some more info
I would keep that panel at least a foot over seedlings and see how they respond before lowering it closer..........good luck

you won't be harvesting much every 3 weeks with this light... and it\s best if your grow environment is clean .. get your clothes out of there!!! This light will only be good for 1 mature plant and maybe 2 up comers...

Well then I need to get some cfl's. Ugh another thing I know absolutely nothing about.

As for the current heat....it's perfect. My only fear is that the new lighting might change this and cause me to have to get some kind of extraction unit. We will see, but for the meantime I think everything is working out ok. The next two weeks should tell me enough to decide on which route to take.
