Okay, so I'm using a spare room as a grow room. And I'm going to need an air conditioner. I was reading something about how air conditioners work, quote:

Heat or Hot Air from the room? Warm air from where? And also quote:
Sounds like both of these AC's result in unwanted exhaust of hot air in your room. I say unwanted because it hasn't passed through a carbon filter?
Am I wrong or could anyone explain this to me in a little bit simpler terms?

PTAC units are separate encased combination of heating and cooling that is normally mounted through the wall. It has refrigeration components and forced ventilation and utilized reverse cycle refrigeration as its prime heating source* and generally has other heating supplement. This type of unit is generally larger that a typical through-the-wall air conditioner and is often seen in motel rooms and apartment buildings.
