they couldn't arrest her for the sign so they ran her and found an old outstanding warrant.

never draw attention to yourself if you have an outstanding warrant for your arrest..seems like a no-brainer but..
That is incorrect, which is par for the course for you.

She was pulled over because the sticker is against the law. It is in every state in the union against the law to use profanity in public display where minors can see it.

That is why she was pulled over.

When they ran her information to check it, which is MANDATORY in ANY stop, the warrant came up. They had NO CHOICE but to arrest her at that point.

She was also cited for the misdemeanor offense of disorderly conduct for the sticker and told to remove it.

Why is it idiots like you always defend people who are simply wrong in every way it's possible to be wrong?

Tricky Tricky topic. First we have to determine does this violate free speech. What is profanity or offensive words ?
Saying Fuck Trump may offend some, others not so much. We can say it is offensive to minors ? What about TRUMP is a VAGINA.
or Trump is a Penis. no way that can be against the law. Penis and Vagina are medical terms. Tricky topic.

No. It doesn't. It's profane, vulgar language. It's not illegal if she post the sign in her house. It's not illegal if you SAY it in your house. It's not illegal to say it in a bar full of adults as long as the proprietor doesn't mind. It's not illegal to say it if people give their consent to be party to it.

But in public at large, it's disorderly conduct. It's black letter law and has been for over a century.

you are so wrong. If a person engages in fighting words or utters a true threat with profanity, those words may not be protected under free speech. I can have a sign that says. DO you really give a FUCK or not? nothing could be done.
If I had a sign that said . Do you want me to FUCK you up or not !!! I could be arrested

*sigh* Yet another person relying on Google to make their argument.

I, unlike you, have a Ph.D. in criminal justice. The Disorderly Statute in the county I live in is very, VERY extensive. Here is the part that deals with basic language use:

(11) No person shall, without provocation, use to or of another person in such other person's presence, opprobrious or abusive words which by their very utterance tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace, that is to say, words which as a matter of common knowledge and under ordinary circumstances will, when used to or of another person in such other person's presence, naturally tend to provoke violent resentment, that is, words commonly called fighting words.
Now, just so you know, opprobrious means to scorn or criticize others.

We both know that fuck is a word WIDELY used to incite others. The "FUCK TRUMP" is about as inciting, insulting and resentful to a Trump supporter as you can get. It serves no other purpose but to incite those who voted for Trump and piss them off.

It's text book disorderly conduct. You can not argue against it.

Pretty much every single jurisdiction in this country has that exact same law on the books.

You know what I find funny. When people criticize Google but yet use it themselves. I will readily admit to Google being very helpful. rather silly and stupid to say otherwise.

I used Google to find your GA law which you used. You may need to go back and find one more current I also used Google find a news article for again your State that has a case thrown out, do to it being unconstitutional for arresting someone over a cuss word and in fact cuss words can be constitutional protected.. Unlike you I will supply both links. We can thank Google. It also helped me to learn TacoMac is a restaurant/sports bar
