Woods - First Timer

:joint: hey all, been browsing RIU and many other ganja forums for many months trying to prepare for Spring! Been smoking a while, but this is my first grow (guerilla). I feel pretty well prepared but I still have a few questions. I found a couple spots go grow, but I'm not sure exactly which ones I'll be using yet since I won't be able to see if they will get enough light until april. I'm using about 15-20 mids seeds (good mids tho), 4 trainwreck bagseed and plan to order a fem blue cheese and bubbleicious. Probably going to use MG Organic since it's the best option at my walmart :( . On to q's....
One of my spots is behind my neighborhood that I think would be great because no one goes there and has some brush around it. There's an open canopy right above the brush and I think that would be the best place for light since its the only spot in the woods with a 30'x30' area of green growth. But I would like to be able to plant directly into the ground to limit my workload. The soil there is mostly made up of old decaying plant matter that turns to mush then soil-like the deeper you go. Would this kind of soil be ok to grow in? I was planning on testing two plants around mid april to see if it's good, but would you recommend just using buckets/bags? Also I wonder if smell would be a concern. The closest house is about 70 yards away but no one is living there ATM, with other houses being 100+ yards.
At another spot the plants would get sunlight nearly all day and be surrounded by pine trees ranging from 2-8 ft. The pine trees are kinda close to each other, I might even have to chop a few down, but my biggest concern is water. Ill only be able to check these plants once a week so I was wondering if you recommend water crystals/polymers for this spot since it will get a lot of sun? I plan to use pots at this spot tho since it's less secluded and i might have to transport.
And since im in GA, deer are pretty common. What kind of fencing would be the most effective but still stealthy? Any input would be appreciated! :peace:
