I change grow styles prob every grow. If I can get thru one. Once I went thru dwc, aero, and finally two kinds of ebb with one plant!
Lol. I have no patience maybe? Nah, this is just too fun.
I have an ebb system all setup for veg and flower and a few stuck in ebb fir now but this next batch of rooters, dwc!
It is all because I have a super lemon haze I was experimenting with in a five gallon dwc. I thot that it would never last two month veg then 2 month flower in such a little bucket with all those roots I see people show.
Now two months into veg she is three by three feet of the fullest bush I have ever seen. Prob more like a heg than an annual. It has a trunk that is thicker than a role of quarters!
I am about to flower her. Under a 600 watt hps by herself with some co2. I thought why not just make them all dwc buckets, four in flower four in veg and get some real trees. Not these yet to be seen rockwool pyrmaids I am growing with.
I just bought a 20 watt air pump for four buckets. I will do that again for flower.
Using my all time favorite of 3 inch net pots in five gallon buckets.
Found a whole saw kit on eBay for 11 bucks with shipping!
I dont mind too much having to fill each bucket with a gallon or two a day. It feels more like a real hydro endeaor than ebb right now with buckets of nutrient and the airpumps bubbling.
Just excited. Plus now I can sell my way expensive ebb tables for some 3 dollar buckets. Hehe, no more buying rockwool either.
Man i got to post pics of my slh, it is a beast. But dwc buckets look like they work. I even let the reseroir get way to low and she does ok.
I use tapwater and gh three part and harwater micro. Works like a champ.
